Thought I would refine my blood worm since I got me a new UV light. I like the way it turned out. New UV sure is nice and fast curing . I may though, have an issue with it . When I put the battery in the charger, the red light keeps flashing as if I have it in wrong, but I do not. Sent an email to Solarez to see whats up. This thing aint cheap, but worth it so far .
I made 24 of these. If anyone is interested in buying, I am selling 3 for $6 plus the cost of a stamped envelope.
Wind warning is province wide and it,s starting,,,,,,,,,,
Sitting here and I can hear the roar of the tower wires. Lights are starting to flicker as well.
HANG ON TO YER BRITCHES
I remember a member here talking about using instagram as a place I could get my fly's out for sale. Using fishing sites is ok,but I am looking for other options .
My question is,is it like FB, or is it more civil like ? LOL
Thanks
B
Ah crappolas,I thought maybe you would be holding some whities there Simon.
We have some mild temps coming here,so I will still get my river fishing in. Going to be a mixed bag of temps here all winter long. YO YO YO

Like I mentioned,I follow a pattern that will work in the waters of my area, but there are many different color patterns I can tie. The pin head will match a shiner here on lake Simcoe. It will also match lake Erie shiners. I have sold my ice bugs to guys that fish Erie,as they work what we use on Simcoe .
Thanks Lew
Truth be told, you tube is my friend. There are so many great tiers on there. They are from all over the world. Great thing is,they all have their own ties and takes on other flys. Like I have said before,I am not one to get into the fancy competition fly ties. I see something that will work here,I will try them. Funny how some of the simplest ties, are so effective here.
The same as what you did on mine. I found that the cork was much thicker then a factory build. Took a bit to get use to, but much nicer to hold on to then a factory one.
Well big guy,for my first attempt, I am very happy. I smoked like I said, 3 pans of apple and pecan . Pulled, wrapped and in the oven for 7 hours at 250 deg. Talk about mouth watering. Ya,well before it was done. The fragrance was over powering the condo once it reached the 4 hour mark. I was not going to open the door til that 7 hour mark. Pulled and let rest for 1 hour. Then it was time to get a cut,n and serve up with some home made shoe string fries.
Delish is mild to say. I can not wait to do this again, on the grill next time I hope.
