I agree. I bought that mega force and gave it 500+ casts, did some flipping...casted both heavy and light baits and it had at least 15h's work on it and it started to make a 3 patteren thump within the reel. Brought it back and got another rod. So I have 2 rods needing reels, although I do have all winter to get the reels. I would love to have my hands on a E7. But what about those Citica's. Lot's of people on here seem to like them. Again, problem being I need 2 reels not 1. I don't know...maybe I'll just sit on my wallet for awhile and wait for the right deal on a pricey reel like you said.

Too bad ya don't like yellow. I also got a Wetskins rain suit and I love it $144 at Canadian tire 2-pc and it's warm also. http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/browse/Appa...2C%2BYellow.jsp And believe me it has been well used!

I think this is a Blue Heron but I'm not 100% sure on that. My friend and I were out fishing in the river in his canoe and caught nothing but a few pictures of this big bird we saw from time to time. We were literally up to 5m away from this bird in some of the pictures. Just fantastic as to how close we got to it. Anyway it was very cool to get so close to such a big bird lol, was fun to get out into the canoe but I think the bass have either shut down or there at the ends of the river now. We wanted to make sure we didn't hook and hurt any fish today so we fished without hooks Too bad that 6lb largemouth didn't keep the lure in it's yap until it got to the boat Until next time, MTBF

Thanks Mike, I just did a quick count I think I made 13 or 14 reports this season so far. all of them but one or two I didn't catch fish but my friends did lol. I love making fishing reports and uploading photos. When I press that preview button all the memories from that day or trip come back to me and the bast part is there all saved on file. Thanks for your post, can't wait to see another MTP report in the near future! MTBF

Just saw this reel on sale for $100CDN on Cabelas site. I am 90% sure I'm going to get it and match it with my 7'MH TS2 Rapala rod. It looks sweet just wanted some feedback before I purchase it. Is it easy to tune, smooth, reliable etc. Let me know what the reel has been like for yourself please. A big thanks, MTBF http://www.cabelas.ca//store/?ID=4475§ion=1188 Also, is this model a right handed reel normal size? What about the Browning Midas baitcaster, on sale for 100 bucks...a lot more expensive reel that has been chopped down. Opinions on it? http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...tems#itemDetail

Dis agree, I have a very good friend that forgot to renew his license and went fishing(forgot about the license) and he got checked for it on that day when he was out in his boat, the CO let him go with a warning. 10'000 is a little much and is obviously not in effect for a reason. -

Does this qualify as a big fish ma brotha Nice cat though GCD, would love to tangle with something of that muscle...but Salmon wil give u the run of your life

Will do, I was just looking for a good line to use for spinnerbaits and things like senkos, jerkbaits maybe and buzzbaits. Hope it works out, thanks though! I have used mono for a long time, this is a mono type line with fluorocarbon coating on it. Might be different then straight fluoro but we will see what happens. Thanks for the response, MTBF

Great job man, like your big bass I still remember everything from that morning, the sound of the fish fighting and busting water, my heart pounding, every jump it did. Great job on the lure, perhaps a short field test video? Thanks for sharing that beauty again! MTBF

LOL, o GCD seriously kiddo. Vanish = crap. Never mind breaking my line I just want a fish at the end of the line. This river is a tough place to fish and since the rain a few days back this cold front has shut down the bass here in the river. Hopefully tomorrow some slow cranks, senkos, and a few other tricks will get a bite or two...my last fish of 2009 Can't be a 4lb Largemouth...I need something bigger

Hey, bought some 15lb P-Line Fluoroclear fishing line today, going to be using it on my 6'6M casting combo and on my 7'MH spinning combo. Just spooled up the spinning rod and it seems to feel and be limp enough. Just asking to see what some member have to say about P-Line. From what I hear there fluorocarbon line is top notch. Just wanting feedback, MTBF

Lol, ya what a entry eh. Was fishing for what I thought were Pike at the time and well...u remember. Didn't know anything about handling and i found out how to properly handle fish. As said, I learned LOTS here and now respect the fishery a lot more. btw, thanks for the comment on my profile when I first joined up
