  1. Worlds best commercial-
  2. Nice last pic, looks like a nice place
  3. wow...is that still considered a bass boat lol, 300hp man...incredable, how fast will it go?
  4. Sounds exciting man, good job!
  5. wow, looks like a tasty bunch of walleye!! Great bass pic's too man. So pumped to hammer some lakes for bass! Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  6. I have had not one problem with their circle type hooks. As for the EWG hooks Tackle Tour rated their bigger swimbait size hooks ahead of all brands due to its super sharp point and thinner hook/ I find them strong, well see what the bass think
  7. Looks fun, caught my first Carp of 2010 today lol, nothing like yours but it was fun!
  8. Haha, looks like a fun little trip. Any day in a boat is a good day, love being on the water Thanks for sharing Dan! When are we going bass fishing??
  9. I never had problems with Gamu also...honestly I have them all as backup's in a baggie. I just wanted to try these hooks because they sound new and are super sharp. Anyway if it puts an extra big fish or few into the boat for me than it's worth it in the end. Anything to increase the odds is great.
  10. Did the test on the finger myself against Gamagatsu and these are sharper and easer to grab skin with. Was using #1 with minnows yesterday targeting walleye but catching perch and every little perch was hooked in the gill plate or in bone. Where ever the hook is it will grab no questions asked. Expensive yes but when texas rigged these hooks will shine as less downward force on the plastic will still get you a solid hook up. Then again I haven't used them for bass yet...I've bought 2/0, and 2 packs of 4/0 wide gap hooks then a pack of #1 and 1/0 drop shot hooks for wacky rigs and what ever else I find them good for. Grab a pack of 4/0...they might be 11 bucks but hey what do u got to loose?
  11. Handle is on the correct side thanks very much...kinda got a deal on the avid but not posting anything Send me a pm. But I got the avid, it's sick. It's a 6'9ML...I was amazed that like the last ft of the rod was "tippy" and sensitive but there was lot's of back bone. Going to be a nice popper rod in the end but it will be fished with those, tubes, and jig's for smallies or open water largies.
  12. nice job brother, we tried on Scugog this afternoon with no Walley but a bunch of perch Glad somebody knows how to catch em! Thanks for sharing, MTBF
  13. I bet ya a Bowfin would out fight a Snakehead??? lol, I'm the bowfin king...watch me later this season man
  14. Just thought I would post a pic of some new gear I bought this afternoon lol. Picked up a Avid Spinning rod, 3000 Symetre and a bunch of bass tackle...worm binder, extra pages, frogs, hooks, dinger, etc lol. Bunch of stuff Made me happy to get some more gear to add to the collection....3 rods down many more to go lmao
  15. Poppers rule! after my PB bass I love them haha, it's definitely a patience bait and its hard not to set the hook when the fish hits the bait but I practiced for at least 45 morning last summer and I got it down to a tee. haha
  16. .Should be duckweed there so bring frogs.
  17. By that time the eggs are hatched and the bass will leave the nest as the fry will grow rapidly there fore fend for their selves...Perhaps with a cold spring/cool summer the bass would spawn later and then, no it would not seem ok but who knows. Fish are fish, we dont not target perch simply because they are food for bigger bass, pike, musky, walleye whatever. So are fry and baby fish. It is right to fish when the season opens because usually(not always) the eggs are hatched.
  18. Ya...no If your stupid enough to not know how to swim then get a jacket on. If you can swim and well your not flying through the water at 50mph then your fine...honestly. I have my jacket close and with the heat all summer I'm not waring a bigger life jacket nor am I spending $150+ on a cute little life coat that is nice to ware. Again, another impossible law to enforce, dont drink and boat, have safety gear with you and learn how to drive. Other than that I think we are safe on the water.
  19. Roy...your a funny guy sometimes bud haha
  20. Hmm, I got a zara puppy(small spook) but I really dont use it. When I fish open water top water i fish Skitter pops. I'm a popper guy I guess but I'll check out wal mart. Thanks guys! As for the plastics all I'll really use are 3 and 4" chigger craws, and 5" senkos...snag proof frogs, spinnerbaits and flipping jigs. Targeting big fish this summer, no more 2lb and under photo's haha
  21. That's Awesome! Such healthy beautiful fish
  22. Anybody looking for a partner?
  23. Hey everybody, looking to get some more tackle this weekend and I'm asking to see if there is anything that came up over the winter that I should try for bass this season. It could be new plastics, hardbaits or spinnerbaits. What ever it is share the info so I can look for some cool stuff. Also, would like to give soft plastic swimbaits a try this season. Berkley Hollow Belly or Money Minnow??? Thanks for reading, maybe well hear of some new gear! MTBF
  24. I've caught one 2lb bass on a spinnerbait 2 weeks ago. Took a good look at her holding her over the water then let it go. It was nice to see but honestly it happens. There are to many ignorant people targeting bass with plastics and other means. However, when I'm fishing for Pike I fish shallow and deeper, along shore lines and away from them. If a bass is there it will probably strike, if I see it following or close to the area im targeting then i dont cast to it...simple. Bass are bass and there are so many in our lakes these days. All we can do is admire the work the CO's do catching one criminal at a time.
  25. You call those Pike Haha, j/k great catches congrads!!
