Thanks for the reply's guys. The frog bite was slow these past 2 days but I managed to get them on a spinnerbait. Nothing big but some chunky largies and smallies I caught. Also nailed this beauty Pike this morning on a snag proof frog! Was awesome to see it hit at the boat

Hey OFC! Havent been on in a few days cause where I am there is no internet so a few times a week ill try to get on here at the restaurant and say hello and comment on some posts. Here is a beauty near 5lb Largie I caught last night on a frog, and also a giant bowfin that gave me one heck of a fight in the weeds! 7 1/2lb bowfin Nice long skinny bass And a surprise slop pike haha The fishing here has been tough, been trying to find bass shallow under the duckweed all afternoon with only a few 1.5-2lb largies blowing up on frogs. The evening bite in the duckweed is good but still no massive fish mostly 2lb class fish.

Hey guys, hit the road this morning just after 2am...it was awesome, started fishing topwater with a few monster crappie then nothing really for bass but a few missed fish. Started fishing frogs in the early morning and I managed a few 1.5lbr's. Rick got a few over 2lbs witch was nice to see Here are a few from the start of the trip(GoneFishin) A few of those fish were jig fish too. after 10ish I locked in on spinnerbait fish catching so many of them...we must of caught about 50 fish from 5-1pm...it was a good day considering the downpour we had all afternoon haha. Going to start throwing a popper across a weedbed or sand flat...then might start throwing a spinnerbait through the pads and around docks...sparse weeds etc.

Hey guys, got my eye on a Avid series 7'M crankbait rod. Any reel recommendation? Was leaning towards a Curado E5. As for line, 12lb mono or 12lb fluoro? Not to sure on line but I got a wack of crankbaits and i ant to start throwing them more so a key setup is what im looking for. If anybody has crankin rods for sale shoot me a PM...that goes for a reel too. Hope to hear some thoughts on what a proper crankbait fishing combo has. Thanks, Mike
