  13. Wow what a report! It looked like a amazing trip and congrads to all of those various fish you guys caught there.
  14. I would just like to know if anybody has tried, bought or made any NEW lures or soft plastics this year that they like to share about. All that I used that was new this year would be my Fishing Snakes, Watermelonseed 5" Yum dingers, and some Rapala X-Rap Slashbaits, these three items worked good for me this year and helped me catch some great fish, what didn't work for me would be the 3" and 5" Berkly Gulp Alive leeches
  15. We have a 14 foot inflateable boat that we just got this past summer. I used it for 2 straight weeks during my vacation to Lyndhursy Lake(near kingston). We would carry it back and forth to the water from my grandmas house, witch was a 1 minute walk and made sure we put extra air in the boat every morning so it would not be too soft. Deflating it will not wreck the boat. We got ours at Wall Mart for $200. I my self would rather a small tinny but just didn't have the money nor the time to find one this year. Here's a pic:
  16. It looks's like you are doing pretty good for your self this fall, keep up the great fishing!
  17. I was watching Lunkerville a few days ago and saw a commercial regarding the Cavitron Buzzbait. I was in Canadian Tire up in port perry on the weekend and saw the bait advertised on the commercial for 7 bucks, so I bought it. Has anyone used this specific buzzbait?
  18. i had a heck of a time trying to find the bass on the weekend, but i did manage to get 1. Not sure for the musky, maybe fall turnover like kemper said.....
  19. I use my Yum Dingers for under water and my Fishing Snakes for top water, the best strikes are on the snakes, you need to see it to beleive it!
  20. Nice Fish!!!
  21. O ya thats for sure. I didn't get to fish it as much as i would of liked this year, i was there just after bass season opened and maybe once during the summer. I should be there a few more times before the season is done. Wish me luck!
  22. Look at all those bass you caught, looks like it was a good summer for you indeed!
  23. Nice fish man, congrads
  24. So today i again walked the shores of Lake Scugog. I started off this morning using a buzz baits then some tubes and then a spinner bait. I had no success with any of these techineques. I then used a Strike King bass jig tipped with a Yum Chunk and started flipping the jig very close to any cover i could find. After about 10 minuted i brought my jig in quickly and a nice size bass slammed it. This would count to be my FIRST largemouth bass on a bass jig . I guess you could say i was "swimming" the jig. The bass weighed 2.8lbs.
