I would be down for a day out like that. A lake with safe ice for sleds would make it even better. Sled, portable hut and auger, good to go!

We were the group leaving when you were arriving. We had a great time at Richter as well. We must of caught in the neighborhood of thousand fish over the 7 days. I personally had a day where I caught over 100 fish. It was absolutely crazy. I have been meaning to do report of my own, but have not found the time. Getting back into the work schedule has been taxing to say the least. I am also waiting for one of guys in our group to send me the pictures that he took over the week as well. Richter is a fish factory. Non stop action all day long. Even on a slow day, I would catch in the neighborhood of 50 fish. The biggest pike we caught, came in at 36inches. I had one slightly smaller at 33inches. Good times and freaking great sunsets! Ab

I have stayed there in the past. Bryer Lodge is a great place. Very clean, the location is awesome and the cabins are very nice. I have stayed a variety of place on the French now and this is by and large my favorite. Ab

I don't really know much about "Roosters" playing hockey or whether there are many of them playing in the NHL. Unless you are referring to Bettman, in which case I would easily agree...he is a real C@#$@! (Rooster) However, this having been said, I do know that as far as Rosters go....their are 11 Canadians playing for the Canucks and 17 playing for Boston. We are talking 6 players on a team that does not exist in any Province In Canada that I know of by the name of Massachusetts. The fact that the Canucks are on this side of the border, easily makes them more Canadian then 6 players playing for the dark side! lol Ab

I have the Holdiday DLX with a 60hp on the back. Great boats! Just like you, I went from the Fisherman to the Holiday DLX. I am now looking at upgrading again to something with a full windsheild, bigger motor and all the tops and bling that go with it. Guess what boat manufacturer I will be buying from? You guessed it! The Nucks are my team! I live, eat and breath Canucks Hockey! Last night was a total nail biter! That game was perhaps one of the most amazing playoff games one could ever watch! Whether you were a fan of either team or not. Fast, furious, amazing hits, spectacular saves and all the drama one could ever handle. In the end the better team prevailed. Cory Crawford was absolutely astounding! What a performance put forth by that young talent! We will certainly see and hear a lot more of him in years to come. He was simply the only reason the Hawks had even the slightest chance last night! As for all this nonsense about officiating, it goes both ways! Get over it and move on. In previous games, the Nucks had plenty of reason to chirp aswell! In the end, Vancouver gets to celebrate a much deserved victory and Chicago gets to work on their golf swing. It could have just as easily have been Vancouver booking their tee off times today. That's just the way the puck bounces in Playoff Hockey! Truly Amazing!!!!! Ab

I have a 2010 F150 XTR with the 5.4. I love it! This having been said, I test drove the new 2011 EcoBoost 3.5 liter V6 today and HOLY! That thing would kick the crap out of my truck! Honestly...you have a hard time keeping the wheels from spinning righ off of it! I am totally impressed and disapointed that purchased my truck before the Eco Boost came out. It gets phenominal fuel milage where as mine is absolute pig! I get on average 17liters to the 100k. The Ecoboost is like 14 in the city and 9 on the Highway. This all having been said, its the power that blows your mind! It really really really pulls! I just could not believe the difference in torgue and throttle repsonse between my 5.4 and this 3.5! The ecoboost would literally leave us guys with teh V8's standing still! AB

I have seen this before and though you will not believe it, this work was done by a Pileated Woodpecker. I have witnessed the exact same distruction on a couple of trees in brothers back yard. Trust me! The handy work is identical. If you ever see one work, you would rub your eyes and scratch your head in disbelief. They can and do tear our large shreds of wood from the tree. Just like the ones you see on the ground in your picture. If you havent seen one in your back yard, consider yourself lucky! Ab
