Trust me Dan we didn't want to handle them but we just wanted to keep them warm and safe. Momma has been by to eat the carrot we left out but we haven't seen the babbies for about 24 hours now YET momma is still around. So to me, they are safe (I hope) and doing well. Momma I think took this all in stride as we didn't mean to destroy her garden nest but made them a box nest in it's place. Maybe that's why she didn't disown them all togehter?

Momma was back again today in the far yard (we have 2 because of the dogs) and let me get real close and one of the babbies came out of hiding when it heard us starting to do some yard clean up and let the Mrs pick it up. Gonna miss them when they actucally take off and not hide in my wood pile.

Was just out for a smoke and momma was never seen at night before but she was checking the old nest and I did my best to show her where they moved to and placed a bit of the bedding in the area too so I really hope she get's the scent and checks it out.

LoL, I hope not too and no problem sharing. Last pictures of them today attached.

So I have been doing a pool fill in and yard make over at home and we took out a garden on the 10th and I found a big ball of fur in the dirt close to the garage. I scopped it up and well there was a babby in it. So I kept looking and found 3 more (4 total). Got the Mrs to find a box to put them in and line it and place them back in the same spot. Well, momma came back over and over each morning around 7:30 am to check on them. The nest got modified slowly as temps changed and that ment we moved them from time to time but momma didn't care and then came back and made sure they were okay. Yesterday we noticed we only had 3 bunnies left in the box when we went to make sure they were covered. We had to cover them as we have two boxers and wanted them to be safe where momma left them. This evening babby 4 came back to tell or show it's sibblings it was good and where to find it. So the Mrs and I are heading back in to leave them be and sure enough the other 3 were starting to make the way out of the nest we built. So we turned around to say our goodbye to them and take them to the wood pile the sibbling went to and was waiting for them. I'm sure we will see them again soon but the Mrs is really sad as they let us hold them and check in on them daily till 7:30pm tonight.

Sorry for your loss of your brother Dan.

LG has gotten SO BAD I will never buy a single product they make! They are so bad they are even getting out of the cell phone market. For a TV with a great picture a Samsung is hard to beat! They sell the glass for the LCD's that they think is sub-par too all the other folks out there...

Correct. Only the old copper land lines show an address and work in a power outage IF you have an old hardwired phone. Bell offers a router with a back up battery for Fibe to the home customers but the battery sure isn't free. As a former Bell person is why I offer the info that I am. If you have copper phone lines, others can get you the service. Also, if you are a Bell customer then the $50 line can be bundled and thus the price reduced.
-
Call around to the smaller places like Nexicom. Bell will wholesale the old copper line service (even works in a power outage for a corded phone) but any of the new Fibe (Fiber) or cable based are still Voip so they suck.

So if the Mrs and I need some 'wind therapy' and get on our 'bikes' (Ninja and Ryker) and leave town they think they can fine me? XXX that; catch ME! I'll run out of gas is the only way they will fine me for 'being out of my local area'. PS, I need to drive over an hour South to Durham to see my kids outside and my parents who I have to help out from time to time with (and miss seeing) are 45 min. North YET my ESSENTIAL service job is over 125KM away and I can go there freely. XXX the lockdown and all this. Oh and as for trying to stop me from fishing! HA! I do it for food for my household! Try and fine me for trying to feed my household!! If it's in season, I'm legal!!!!

Stocking up early? Any out of stock issues?
GBW replied to Hack_Fisherman's topic in General Discussion
I'm going old school and using what I have from my years of gathering till it's gone. I got that bait years ago as it worked then and I'm sure still works now. So for me it's a dig back to my gear that hasn't been used in years lure wise. However if I need to replace a rod or reel, I will try my old stock 1st then go out to the online (local - ptbo tackel and others) shops. Facebook groups are seeing some way off prices too either way high or oddly low. Good luck all looking but this year I'm slowing it down and not going to splurge unless needed. -
Get a ghillie suit and the passers by think you're a bush, shrub, ext.... lol

So the boat is sold (waiting on the other half of the payment in the next day or two so it's still here locked up tight). I guess it's time I look into fixing up my messed up teeth. Any local leads for good work at good rates? I'm in the Lindsay area. They need to come out and I turn into an 'old man' as my little sister Nancy says and do dentures if they cost less and are less invasive. I have to make choices to make me better for my wife Sue and I in the long haul and we have our wind therapy toys and have a use of a boat at my parents. So selling a boat I have been trying to have for many years but my EX always said no is a hard task. I wanted it, I finally got it, but due to health I let it sit, unused. So the week is here it goes to a new home. Bitter sweet. BUT the EX did also say I would never have any form of a motorcycle and I'm on ride number two now with the going from the FZ07 to the Ryker Ace 900. I think I need to hit the road on it this weekend as part of my wind therapy of the sale of the boat... I'm sure Sue will agree if the weather holds as to the forecast.

My folks lake (4ml) is half clear now. Anything South of it looks to be open. Tight lines all!!!

Oh and Peterborough Pro Tackle sell's Zoom and so does Walmart. Walmart is great for blowing out old stock for next to nothing.
-
Also, Amazon.ca. https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=Zoom+Trick+Worm&ref=nb_sb_noss_2

PS, seems like the CTC in Barrie has a few packs left online shopping I found them. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/zoom-trick-worm-lure-6-1-2-in-1780998p.html Maybe call and ask them to grab all the remaining stock and hold them for you??

Cliff, worst case, try Jerry on Queen St in Lindsay to see if he can get them if you're still having a hard time.

Turned out great Lew.

Any cheap mono to start while pitching plugs around in the yard. Mono cost's less too when having to cut a birdsnest out.
-
You can plug your cell in and open Google or Siri and tell it to talk back to your truck too Mr B and not just for mapping

Looking for advice from any painting experts

Remove old trim, clean, paint, reinstall and use the same paint on a small artist brush to cover nail/pin holes
