Many (MANY) years ago my grandmother had a place on Haliburton lake (Fort Irwin) and she had told me of a time when there was a big cat (lynx or bobcat) that she would see from time to time on her property at the edge of the road.

Did you notice anything different with the weeds in the area by chance? I ask as one year on my home lake the normal weed bed was a lot smaller than usual and made that 'honey hole' just a hole... I had to move about 50' off my typical spot to find them.

Both places I mentioned have other huts (when safe) off the perch grounds for laker's and whitefish

If the pic is from a smart phone then yes as they are tagged with a GPS location.

If I recall correctly Bunk had a few guys show up and fish right next to him on a REMOTE lake on the ice because they seen his posts and knew it was him from the green winter jacket.

See, that right there is why some of us don't post reports anymore. The lake I fish the most isn't a big lake so it's easy to say "oh I know that cottage and where it is". In fact, I made a new fishing buddy for that very reason via a facebook fishing group post. I was not the poster of the report or pic but I sent him a msg, "see that boat and the Canada flag in the background of your pic over your wife shoulder, say hi that's my place"

If you want to bling it out and have it serviced up nice then I'd PM cdnbasshunter as that is a joy/passion of his from everything I've ever seen of his posts involving reels.

So I go looking for the NOMA one also 12G on sale and it ends up being the mastercraft one. The MGR said they now own NOMA so as long as the product # is right the packing can and will be different. Either way I now have a 50' 12 gauge wire and saved a few bucks via Dave. Thanks all!!!

And this is why many don't post reports, are vague in said reports if they do post one OR post them weeks later for areas that have higher fishing pressure...
