  1. I don't really have a favourite so it's entirely up to you
  2. lol you had me confused for a bit there Pam..........and yes I did give you permission. Let me know which photo you would like and I can send you the file
  3. I've had the chance to take some pictures in the last few days and here is a sample of them Cutthroat Trout enjoy
  4. thanks guys. fishergirl....if you do come out to the isles let me know and it would be great to get out and take some pics
  5. fortunately for the fawn, it's a little too big for an eagle. The deer here have no natural predators. The bears don't eat them because they have all the shellfish and salmon they could ever want so the deer population is out of control.
  6. Haven't had too much weather cooperation lately to take any real pics but i did manage a couple... This is a sitka black-tailed deer fawn And a Queen Charlotte Island Black Bear cub in a tree enjoy

  8. fullsize?? those are a third of the original size.....another thing I do to cut back on people stealing them.........but im sorry for posting PHOTOS in the PHOTOGRAPHY section......im done with this......your not worth my time danbo
  9. toot my own horn? This is the photography section......other than the occasional jackass comments like yours, most people seem to enjoy the pictures I post and thats the reason I do so......don't like it? don't read it....simple as that....thanks for your time
  10. distrust and greed eh? nice these pics are for sale for myself personally as well as for the lodge I work for and therefore I can't be giving away freebies......more effort goes into taking these photos than many of you think and thats another reason there is a price on them......one more reason for the watermarks is that it's advertising for my website......WWW.BRANDONBRODERICK.COM.....but I'm sure you already saw that on the pictures .......if you don't like the watermarks, don't look at the pictures. and danbo....it's pretty ironic that you post the watermark question....i'm almost positive it's you that posts photos you copied and saved from the net at 0 cost to yourself in 90% of your posts.....perhaps if the people who are the legal owners of those photos had put a watermark on them, they wouldn't have been stolen...just my opinion anyways.....
  11. those fish are needlefish.......and my fish wasn't a tyee.......tyee is 30lbs and over......mine was only 19lbs
  12. Here are some more eagle pictures from this past week enjoy
  13. thanks guys fireball......google map "Masset, BC"......that's where I'm at
  14. Just finally got internet so I'll post a few pics.......hopefully more once I get some more time this one is my favourite picture I've taken and for all you buggin me lack of fishing posts..... 19lb chinook enjoy
  15. Fisher Girl, If you search posts towards the very beginning of the photography forum you'll find lots of HDR info. Google it as well.....it's pretty cool stuff
  16. As some of you know I'm moving to Masset, BC on the 25th of the month. Masset is located at the northern tip of the Queen Charlotte Islands which are off the North West coast of BC. I'll be working as a general help/photographer at a fishing lodge. I don't know if I've ever been more excited before.....not sure if it's because I'm moving to the Islands or because I don't have to do f*****g pest control anymore.....if I can give anybody advice.....stay out of pest control....its dirty, degrading, dangerous, and pays like crap...... Anyways my last day at work is Thursday the 15th and I have orientation for the new job in Vancouver on the 16th....The morning of the 17th I hop on a plane and fly to Windsor where I stay until saturday the 24th where I fly back to Vancouver. And finally around noon on the 25th I fly north to Masset....basically this whole story is a lead up to why I went and took some pictures today......all this traveling/moving requires packing, storage, organization, changes of address, etc., etc. which in turn brings on stress......anybody who has moved knows what I'm talking about...... So to combat some of the stress I drove to George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary once again.....I just basically needed to get out of the house and get some air.... Here are my favourites of the day....hope you enjoy these two didn't turn out as sharp as I would have liked but it's hard to keep both birds in focus when theyre zippin around so quickly here is one of the adult Great Horned Owl's trying to take a nap while one of the chillins re-adjusts it's situation on the branch.....the little guy couldn't sit still and for you waterfowl lovers, here is a Wood Duck and now back to the hummingbirds male female I know a lot of the pics are similar but I decided to include them all anyways......hope you enjoy this may be my last photo post for a while.....Once I get situated in the islands and get some pics up there I'll begin posting again Take Care, Brandon Broderick
  17. Last night after work I drove to West Van to take some pictures.....I'm honestly not too happy with how they turned out but they've sort of grown on me and I've decided to post a few. Now that I have a new walk around lens I'm not embarassed to take landscape shots.....if any of you have went from a kit lens to a professional model, theres no going back....so with my basic lens upgraded i felt the need to get out and take a few landscape pictures.......anyways here they are Panoramic of Howe Sound.....facing South/Southwest Here is probably my favourite of the 3 pics....It's an HDR because I wanted to expose the foreground as well as the background however it was quite windy so the flowers aren't as sharp as I wanted.....lesson learned and this one is just of some driftwood in a cove
  18. love that first one Deano.....so peaceful
  19. It's taken from Ladner facing North
  20. amazing painting......love the composition
  21. It rained all yesterday and cleared up after it got dark so I drove out to Deep Cove to try out the new lens I bought (Canon EF-S 17-85mm f/4.5-6 IS).....I've been to Deep Cove at night before so It was kind of tricky finding some new ways to show Deep Cove at night. Here is what I came up with.... Pano of the Deep Cove marina Pano facing East with Belcarra straight ahead and this one is my favourite from the night.....The Deep Cove Marina under a star filled sky with Mt. Seymour in the background And today I drove to the Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary again to see the Owls but they have moved on.....so this is the best picture I came out of there with I should also mention it's a female Rufous Hummingbird
  22. looks great to me......been to that place a few times myself as a kid and it brings back some memories.....thanks
  23. oh man that first shot is a beauty
