  5. I'm going to confront the trainer in an hour and I'll get back to you.... I know there have been a few changes but I'm not sure...
  6. This is the problem..... The law has recently changed and the info out there isn't getting out there properly. Your info from the rcmp is from 2008... I asked the trainer this and he said it was changed recently
  7. Most people on my course didn't even consider the improper storage of a pellet or air soft.....even the swat guys
  8. They do, but would you really be charged with careless storage of a fire arm for a pellet gun? You can be, but I haven't seen it very often
  9. Yup, protection from 4 legged predators and nuisance animals
  10. Nope...just remember though, 30% of all the info on all registered guns are wrong....
  11. Did you know, that under the criminal code, pellet guns, air soft guns and paint ball guns fall under the definition of a fire arm and MUST be stored as such... Unloaded with or without a trigger lock, or inoperable in a secured room or safe...food for thought about our wonderful gun laws
  12. canada's court system is too messed up to have anything remotely like the death penalty....

  17. oops sorry cliff.... a level 3 trauma plate is a ceramic ballistics plate that the eru/jtf/swat officers wear in their vest. it pretty much can stop most rifle rounds.... the officer was shot in the chest
  18. i guess it all depends on the situation, i'm more used to dealing with people in that situation under 50...however, even if the person lies and says i didn't say that but family and friends say otherwise then i tend to believe the family and friends and take the person and let the hospital help the person...either way its a tough situation
  19. if he's thinking about hurting himself he doesn't have a choice but to go...if he refuses the ambulance, he goes with the police to the hospital, it something i do a couple of times a month he mentioned an old friend...i assumed that it was a friend he had known for years, not someone getting on with age lol.. 310-COPE is also a good resource if he wants to talk to someone too but Terry you're right, if someone tells an ambulance to pound salt then they have no choice
  20. i'm sorry i missed it...it looked like a great time!
