  1. Hey Kevin, are cottages filling up for that weekend? I might have to tent it!
  2. Great story Randy! I remember the time I walked into the post office and saw my name on the wall... got the heck outta there!
  3. I can't argue your reasoning but the L shape makes it substantially more sturdy when mounting riggers on or near the corners. Plus you can add a couple Salties at the back. Trade off... 2 seconds inconvenience vs. 6-8 hours on the boat with a slick setup.
  4. Don't rule out tracks, they're a great system. Consider ways of working with them. Depending on your interior, you could consider an elevated L shape with the tracks flush to the inside of the gunwales using risers. Just a thought.
  5. You'll want a perfectly flat mounting surface for tracks; I'm not sure you'll find that with your gunwales. As much as I love the track systems, I think I would avoid it for your boat.
  6. Enjoy your office, I'd be out doing "research"! I'd like to see ministry overlap eliminated.
  7. Did you try banging the starter? ...bump...
  8. LOL Roy! Everything is fine here... must be local issues for you.
  9. Looks like HDS 7X would be sonar HDS 7M would be chartplotter HDS 7 would be a combo unit
  10. 175 80 13 175 is the section width in millimeters 80 is the sidewall profile (80% of tread width or 140mm) 13 is rime size in inches. A 180 80 13 tire is 5 mm wider and 4mm taller. If you already had one of these tires as a spare, I wouldn't throw it out but don't spend hard earned money on the wrong tire. **Edited tread width with section width. Section width is actually the widest point of the tire... sidewall to sidewall.
  11. Great report Joe! I'm glad you and Art got out with the "Chief of Staff"! I had my official Kitty Cat Hat on today too....

    Wow, sounds like fun
  13. Team selections are done! Check out the Toruney discussion area under "Roster" for your new team and introduce yourselves!
  14. Just to add to Goran's advice... Weight is another issue. Marine ply is half the weight of pressure treated. If you don't want to spend marine ply money; you can use regular plywood, seal it as well as you can and be prepared to do the job again. When refurbing my boat, I used 3/16" aluminium for the floors. I'll never have to do it again but it's heavy too. And you think marine ply is expensive... LOL Spend a little more (double) for the marine plywood, you'll be glad you did.
  15. I like Burke and can't stand Wilson. (I tell anyone that will listen) The Kessel trade was good. Proven 30 goal scorer, twice. Scoring 30 goals on this Leaf team is miraculous and considering he missed 15-20 games coming back from the injury is incredible. The only way this trade gets any better is if the Leafs placed higher in the standings and the "B's" pick 6,7 or 8th. That's Wilson's fault Now, say what you will about Burke but keep in mind who orchestrated getting rid of seemingly untradeable players; Toskala and Blake.
  16. Have you considered vinyl flooring? I was able to match my original Starcraft flooring EXACTLY through Home Depot. They sell it as decking vinyl. If I recall correctly, it's $12/running foot at 6 feet wide. I can drop a sample in the mail to you and save you a trip to HD if you're interested. Or, if you're ever in London, drop in!
  17. When the walleye and bows make their way to Pt Burwell/Bruce give me a shout and I'll give you a crash course on trolling. Maybe we can put some numbers up for the team!
  18. Congrats! Nice big dance floor in those, even with the engine housing. Pick up a kicker, it'll save you a ton of cash at the pumps.
  19. I had a great time last year and looking forward to it next year. It's on the calender!
  20. You never miss an opportunity to 'rub it in' eh? It has some of the elements we're looking for; it just doesn't say what we want. I am considering going in another direction for that room. It's my wife's favourite room in the house and he favourite place to be is Sauble Beach. I might make a run up there for a photo shoot and see what I come up with. The fireplace mantel picture would be something like this: http://i703.photobucket.com/albums/ww31/Slicethearts/sauble.jpg ... but more of an artistic point of view, a little less drama and no flash on the street sign! I would then personalize the rest of the room with shots taken over the years. And then to top it off, a truck load of Sauble sand on the hardwood floors!
  21. No kidding, Rick! I've always hated the 3 point game. We knew teams were sneaking into the playoffs by losing in OT but the Leafs/Habs game... the perfect arguement against it. Boston/Carolina.... yikes! I'd hate to be on the bad end of that statistic!
  22. Does this mean you're going to be bumming boat rides for the rest of the season?
  23. Happy B-Day Ryan! The deck and vinyl work are gonna like great. Nice roof too!
