  1. Very handy... percher has been using a similar bracket for years and my e-tec has one built in.
  2. It'll have to be one of these if we're going to both fit on it!
  3. Double check if that is available on yours. I think the EMM interface is on 90hp+. If it is available, the EMM cable was about $90 from Angling Outfitters.
  4. Nice scooter! Nice backrest for your neighbour/fishing partner too!
  5. That was what came to my mind too but I think the issue on Lowrance was when the "Require waas positioning" option was selected. I'm not sure if the Ray has that feature but worth a check. I'd agree with Terry (just this once ), perhaps relocating it might narrow down the issue.
  6. LOL!!! Nothing white about that lie!
  7. Ooooops! The Avalanche would have left more of an impression on the other guy!
  8. I knew I recognized you from somewhere... lumbering down the middle lane on I-90 in your crane. Just in case you didn't know, 90 ton refers to capacity. Your crane weighs about as much as the 200 or so garbage trucks rolling down the 401 each day. I wasn't looking for a pissing match but if you're going to take a shot at me, I'm going to return the favour. This is about Dan's daughter graduating and I'm done with the right lane/middle lane conversation. Sorry Dan
  9. When you can provide 5000km/week of documented miles, I'll consider your opinion.
  10. You're part of the problem! This what causes people to weave in and out of traffic. Set your cruise in the right lane and you have a big open shoulder to rely on to avoid an incident. You don't even have to do a shoulder check!
  11. Sorry about your luck. In this day and age with carfax reports, even if its not your fault you still are made to suffer on the resale value because of this turd. I'll challenge your opinion on the careless/impaired but I know it comes from anger and I understand. The careless charge is thrown around a little too easy these days by officers. They'll often charge for careless when following too close or unsafe lane change may suffice. They hit 'em hard and let the crown, defense and judge figure it out. This guys actions seem worthy of a careless charge but there are so many that get tossed when testimonies prove a much less serious incident. They shouldn't be made to suffer the same immediate consequences as an impaired charge. The kids look great! We know where they get their good looks from
  12. I had a Danvise and really liked it for its versatility. Great clamping power on the smallest fly hooks all the way up to 5/0 muskie trebles. There are aesthetically nicer vises but it did the job well for the money.
  13. It really depends on the context... 1. If you and a buddy are walleye fishing and you get 1 walleye and he gets 37 bass; 1 trophy muskie and a sunfish, he got skunked. 2. If you and I are walleye fishing and you get 1 walleye and I get 37 bass; 1 trophy muskie and a sunfish, you got an azz whoopin'.
  14. I'd be happy with that!
  15. Smoking is the least of your worries; where's your hull registration numbers?
  16. Looks like you're the front runner! Nice fish.
  17. It wouldn't have surprised me if they were closed today; they had a ton of water leaks through the roof yesterday. I'm holding out for a flood sale... 80% off all water damaged fishing tackle!!!
  18. Nice Mike!!! I hope we see some great opener shots
  19. That's awesome!! I love the avatar picture too! You have more pens than anyone I know! Nice of you to offer and congratulations.
  20. If you with stay with Merc you should be able to keep the current controls. If you have your heart set on the E-TEC, do the research 90 vs 115. The consensus is more bang for the buck + built-in oil reservoir on the 90.
  21. I'm guessing he is still interested since he bumped it 2 days ago.
  22. Just to confuse the issue a little more... As far as I know, that motor should have an oil reservoir and won't run if it's low on oil. If it was clean and running, I would say $6000-$6500
  23. Don't worry about two holes; you'll only need to do it once. Mask off the location leaving 1/4 to 3/8 around the plate. Using 3M 5200, smear the back of the plate and slap it on the boat. Run your 2 screws in and smooth out the excess adhesive with your finger. Once your happy with the bead of adhesive, remove the masking tape.
  24. FWIW, I sold my '87 18' Starcraft CC for $6,000 a month ago. It had a 75 Mariner and would do 34mph fully loaded/fueled with 2 in the boat. A 75 will do fine but that boat rocks with a 90. Very nice ride.
