We had the same thing happen to us but it was a little different we had a 14X14 shack and waited to long the ice along shore was getting to crappy for us to pull it off so we took it apart and brought the roof section home when we got back the rest of it was gone but all the couches and empty's were left right there what a joke we were young maybe 18 or so and were not happy some one got a lot of lumber to build there own shack for the next season we never saw the pieces again Heck they even stole the steel door.

Head North there is no season on them where camp jiggy is.

We had some cobra ones they were great and very small 25 mile range I think is what they said we had no problems getting 3-4 miles clear across a lake that was about as far apart we were. I had bigger Motorola ones and form them to not get out as good they could not reach 3 miles on rice lake but cost a lot more they were $150 but we got them on sale for $20 thanks to red flag deals and staples matching and beating program and a mail on coupon. I liked them as I would head out fishing before the family and wait for the wife to call me for breakfast then take the family out great things to have.

Cliff that was dads dream and one of the very few things we did not do was a fly in fishing trip we have been to many lakes north of Sudbury with fly in quality but he always looked at the fly in place along HWY 144 when we would be heading north and say one of these days. It never happened and when I tried to get him for one 2007 after our may 24 trip he did not want to leave mom at home with out himself so if you have the chance this year just do it.

Hey all I am taking the family to Disney staying at kissamme I was wounding if ya all had any tips for staying in the area we have a house booked and 4 day passes to the park we are taking in Universal also. I know about gator land but was wondering if there is any fishing around that I can do a few hours fishing for some of them big bass I know the big lakes but wondered if some of the members knew of anything I can just get a few quick hours in. Also tips to entertain the family other then the theme parks. Cheers Mike
