  1. Its funny before I got "back" into fishing I was an avid whitewater kayaker and used to frequent a paddlers forum where I always posted under my real name. I've been known to "get into it" with other posters from time to time(not here to many mods, LOL) and I would never hide behind some alias...But when I discovered the fishing sites like this one most people seemed to have a "handle" so I picked Pigeontroller since I have a trailer on Pigeon Lake and have spent many hours trolling for the elusive Muskie(I actually prefer casting). My given name is always in my signature, and my email is not hidden. As always, I stand behind what I say, and take responsibility for it.
  2. Trying to figure out the name of a kids show I watched in the late 70's/early 80's, it had a lobster and hermit crab as characters I think, they were puppets and lived on a coral reef? Does anyone remember this show?
  3. I'm more of a fan of Aluminum fishing boats. If I were interested in a Fiberglass fishing boat I would seriously consider the Ranger 620 VS. I doubt the Lund fiberglass came out of a Lund factory, I would look into who's building them...Might even be Ranger!
  4. Yes, I could see the internet contributing to the decline in attendance at fishing clubs. Lew, there's a new Chairman in the T.O. chapter, the guy with 0 personality stepped down. And I hear there's a great new Chairman in Hamilton! It would be nice to see you as a member again!
  5. My Brother's first good Muskie with me as guide... I like this one cause I'm not making a Lew-face! LOL My first Lake St. Clair Spotty... My last Muskie of 2007... That morning started with shovelling out the boat, Doh! Next time put the cover on! This was my favourite though, Trolling Thanksgiving weekend...
  6. Ah jeez Mike, as soon as I saw the name I knew you'd be passing on bad news... My condolenses...
  7. I liked the one where Rick was at Harvard University and had some professors swallow their proverbial foot!
  8. Welcome! Nice Muskie, I gotta ask, Did you catch it from a pontoon boat?
  9. Nice work Tony. . I second the overhead rod storage idea. Consider Skylites, sounds silly but when I built my garage 3 years ago I put 2 in I got from Home Depot, they were about $300 each...At the time I questioned the idea, but after they were in I realized how nice it is to have some natural light!
  10. Don, you could try Niagara Glass on Dunkirk rd. See Tim the owner, tell him Dax sent ya!
  11. I guess this is the happy new year thread! HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL WHO FREQUENT THIS PLACE!
  12. Glen, if you're expecting the fishfinder to catch the fish for you your doing it wrong...Hummingbird is known for its cheap units, not that they don't make better quality ones...But they make alot of crap too!
  13. I love my LMS-332C, Colour is nice but not as important as quality.
  14. I would pick that 520 up for that price! And yes, colour is better for the above stated reasons! Not just as a fashion statement.
  15. Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone has a safe holiday season.
