  1. I'm curious to hear from the (bow) Hunters here. What is required to start bow hunting for Turkey, Deer. I've been shooting for a year and would like to graduate to Turkey hunting but have no hunting friends...
  2. I too am a big fan of the Shimano Curado 300E. Though I don't think its a good all-around Muskie reel, it doesn't hold alot of line and doesn't have a clicker, two things that are nice features for trolling. I am assuming you want 1 rod that does everything to start. The Abu Garcia C3 6600 is a good starter reel, holds lots of line and has a clicker if you want to troll with your rod in a rod holder. As stated good rod choices that won't bankrupt you are the Shimano Compre and St.Croix Premier, or St.Croix Muskie Mojo. Lots of good Muskie guys here so you can learn alot by asking questions.
  3. Welcome Jacob!

  9. The Point I was trying to make is that WE are causing way more harm to this planet...So, should we start culling humans? No way! But don't worry, nature has its own way of dealing with over populations...
  10. I'll be at the Muskies Canada booth Saturday, stop and say hi, and I'll have Odyssey tickets! $15 then or $20 at the door on April 9th.
  11. The worst overpopulation this planet has ever seen is us Humans...When animal populations get out of whack its usually because of us....Hmmmmm.

  13. Yup, there are some really good books out there, you might find one specific to that model Cannon, they are alot nicer to read than the manual that it comes with. Consider a basic Photography class, Henry's probably has one.

  16. Not your typical ICE safety video...
  17. I saw it tonight, definately was a bit surprised at the lining...I've watched a half a dozen shows now and I am very impressed with Jeremy Wade's fish handling and the ethics he displays.
  18. Here's a oldie, spent a few nights driving my cousins around when I was a teenager, it was the coolest looking thing I thought at the time...
  19. Good thing that Canadians don't have to play for Canadian teams, and Americans for US teams...The Cup would never leave this here Great Land!
  20. I can't imagine any serious angler finding anything worth buying at either...That being said, my local CTC has some decent stuff, where as the local Walmarts are stocked with nothing but CRAP!
  21. Did you pay them to make you say that?
  22. I think the only thing that makes Ice fishing interesting is beer and weed(s)
  23. You should have taken pictures of the poacher, his 6 lines, his car w/ license plate...The CO could have hand delivered a fine or summons! Oh yeah, nice Esox Lucius. Happy Birthday.
  24. I agree, I'm in the midst of upgrading from a 12v 55# to a 24v 80#, though my boats a bit heavier...
  25. Cable or electric steer? The Edge is a cheaper version of the Maxxum, v2 is a cheaper version of the Terrova. One battery or two? Do you have room for two? Personally, for your boat I'd recomend a 12v 55# Terrova, with a 54" shaft.
