  1. Are they the replaceable blade props?
  2. RCMP press release including clarification of 10 & 12 gauge shotguns. https://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/en/firearms/need-know-the-government-canadas-new-prohibition-certain-firearms-and-devices?re
  3. Never had or needed it. That being said you will have to ask your self, do the benefits out weight the solution/risk? To me the major factors would be if there is pain or restrictions that effect your life without it. Best wishes for the decision you need to make.
  4. I never heard wild leeks called ramps. But could be the same thing. They are like a green onion bulb with a garlic flavour. Flatter leaves.
  5. I tried for 2 years when I moved here. Didn't work for me. But I can't really blame the hanging basket system. I just don't get enough direct sun light. Got tomatoes but couldn't get them to ripen.
  6. As I'm south of you maybe I should start checking it out.
  7. With the generally dry spring we have had in southwestern Ontario were the wild leeks early or later this year?
  8. Terry I wish you were correct but I see many posts on here and other sites trying to put the blame squarely on the province for all the ramp closures.
  9. Unless in a marina or provincial park in most cases the public launches have not been shutdown by the province. That is on the local governments.
  10. Hope your looking for future trips. Too early to see leaches in bait shops yet.
  11. MJIG what you posted is correct. But there are still places outside the restricted fire zones which don't have fire bans. I can have one were I live.
  12. Just because a Conservation Authority controls a river system doesn't = the whole river is in a Conservation Area.
  13. Terry that's only based on confirmed deaths with a confirmed infection. They are not testing everyone by far. Those effected without symptoms unless working with or exposed to a confirmed infected person do not get tested. No way to confirm a percentage of those infected that die. Information is just not there.
  14. But the .0136 is the percentage of death for the whole population not the percentage of those infected which would be far higher. But we have no way of determining how many were/are infected as there isn't wide spread testing.
  15. And the ticket would only say it was for violate an order under the current laws. And I should believe you because "he talked to them" when the OPP are stating otherwise? IIRC you've been the one telling everyone to stay at home but somehow justifying why your at your cottage.
  16. Leaving in the hitch and ball isn't an offense as long as it doesn't obstruct the viewing of the licence plate. Mine is usually left in on my jeep. But my licence plate isn't obstructed by it.
  17. Sounds like another "I was told by a buddy who was told by a buddy" story especially since the OPP have stated they are not doing this.
  18. My exact thoughts. But worse is it isn't all the locals but some of those with the influence.
  19. Hey irishfield did you hear the newest from the Municipality of Temagami? All municipal boat launches and parking area's closed to recreational and non fulltime residents.
  20. Don't completely take my word for it. Maybe others have different experiences than me.
  21. Grand Bend isn't a hot spot for walleye but some are caught in much deeper water. But not a spot if your looking for high numbers of walleye. They may be suspended. Can you catch them closer to shore? Sure but they won't be plentiful. The river at Grand Bend isn't known for a large run of walleye.
  22. Most fishing in that area is done much further off shore. And during warm weather that close to shore would be a zoo with non fishing traffic.
