not my deer , never did see any more of him than you guys did via these photo's. ya , a great 6 point but if he is an old fella then more than likely his offspring might only get as big. i was thinking a trophy finally may be on a property i that i have permission to hunt . no need to say it ,, ofcourse if this animal were in my peep-sight i'd be pretty damn excited. thanks guys ,, awesome photo's of some brute whitetails.

don't get me wrong ,, i'm making a guestimate on a deer 's potential ,, certainly not trying to discredit your trophy. an incredible deer on your wall ,, big hats off to ya, especially with a bow. just sayin' some 8 pointers superseed some 10's because of the math apologies if offended.

not really richyb , you get the added measurements between the added tines as well. 150 is not that far off ,, do the real math. 2 more tines {even at 8 in., which is shy} then add the circumfirance of 4in. x2 ,between the added tines ,,now you're gettin' close.

i brought this deer up a while ago. my buddy shot this deer 2 yrs. ago and didn't think much about it ,, but i thought it was incredible for a six point . i took some pictures . thought you might want to take a look at a giant six. the last photo is the joker that takes the credit for this deer. despite what you see it scores only 118 boone. 2 more pionts though and you're lookin' at the 150's. g2's were 11in. mains were almost 24in. greatest spread almost 22in. circumference at 5 1\2in. great rack anyway,, take a look .

it's sunday ,, don't like fishing on a work day \ night but the conditions were perfect for a trophy. even got better when i reached the lake ,,, noobboooddddddy. silence. really nice calm mornin' ,,little wind . got a good hook-set on this beautiful girl at about 9:00 and she was back in the swim of things not 2 minutes later. what a beautiful strain this is,,, very dark and quite defined . great to watch her go back ,unscaved. 34 in. pike on a dead- bait sardine ,, in 9 fow. tight lines.

i hit bellwood with my neighbor on the 12th for pike .. yes it was a slow start , but things picked up a bit at about 9:30 . i put 3 on the ice ,,steve nabbed a hammer at about 1:00 ,, day over ,,had a dr's appointment for my daughter at 3:30 ,, cuttin' it close . thing is ,, no one else got bit ,, some guys came over to see what we usin' ,, portugese sardines . i need to invest in new rechargeable batteries , mine are done. put 'em on charge ,, light flickers in some random pattern ,, toast.

nice to see nothing came of a rediculous situation . good times ,, decent people ,, love the outcome.!!

sucks slayer ,, a down machine in your neck of the woods is a serious occurance... nice to have some company on those days. got a few fish and got out safe ,, right on.

i grew up on the east coast catching specks on small trib's ,, nothing like those giants !! a dream destination for anyone whose ever felt a decent speck arguing about coming in to be landed. wow,, your timing is great ,, a great pick-me-up, what a charge checking out those beauties. nipigon,, a huge hats off to ya , thanks for sharin'!!

sorry slayer ,, can't agree . i only wish it was that easy. my favourite lake for pike is pretty clear and shallow so you can watch pike come in to hit the bait when sitting silent in the hut. i've watched large pike come in to strike,, stop suddenly dance around it within inches and slowly slip from view . even a perfect presentation sometimes isn't good enough ,, anything less is a waste of time to me ,, i even put my nose to the water , look down the hole and make sure it's done right when outside the hut . a piece of meat may work,, but a good presentation of whole , horizontally- sitting bait works best i find.

i've never had this happen and don't know what to make of it . great lookin' day ,,sun's just about to rise , winds calm on a very cool november mornin'. just launched the boat ,squeeze the ball on the gas line ,,soft . check the line ,, check the fittings, clamps ,,,squeeze ,, ball 's still soft. a 2yr old tank and line shouldn't be defective i thought, what the heck?? pulled and pulled that thing over ,, not even a burp . check the spark plug to see if it's dry. it's dry. it's been about 20 minutes. frustrated , i picked up the gas tank point the handle of the tank down and lean the larger part up high against the side of the boat. 4 or 5 squeezes of the ball and it's now firm!! spent the rest of the day making sure the handle of the tank was much lower than the larger part ,, if not the merc quits . what's wrong with this tank???

sorry for your slow day ,, good to be out on such a nice day though. no wind really ,, i can't stand the wind . surprised to hear of the licence check, i don't mind that at all,, like to see it more myself. it's early , don't get discouraged . they'll find you . lol
