  1. Rick, yeah for sure. I'll probably wait a week anyhow to let those big girls heat up a bit before getting out there.
  2. You don't need a breaker, a simple inline fuse will work just fine... This really isn't complicated at all. Don't pay a shop to do this.
  3. My oldman loves to catch docks, trees or anything else on shore I gotta start spooling his reel with 25lb mono, lol!
  4. Yup, cop did a great job that's for sure. Nice to see some praise instead of the constant bashing they receive.
  5. Thanks boys, was nice to scratch that itch that's for sure. Now I'm wondering if my pike opener spots will still have ice come May 1st, lol.
  6. I hope we're not saying this is terrorism....
  7. I doubt you'll need to make any wiring changes sans joining the two batteries together. If it's not a long run up to the motor, you might be able to get away with what's there already.
  8. Pulled the boat down to the southern shore yesterday hoping to cash in on some early season action. Day started off great, weather was great, lake was calm. Ripped over to Charles Daley got the boards and flat lines out fairly quickly and started on our way over to Jordan. Not a sniff in the first 30mins, so I decided to drop a rigger about 2ft off bottom and within 10 mins we had our first fish. Chunky little brown at about 4lbs. Pulled the other flat line in and dropped rigger #2. About 5mins later brownie #2 came to the boat, almost a twin to the first fish. Kept the speed around 2.0-2.2 and made sure to use those super thin Predator spoons (White seemed to be the ticket today).. Finally got a hit on the inside board running another Predator spoon with 1 colour of leadcore but lost that fish after about 30 seconds. Wind kicked up and that shut down the fish. Decided to head over to Port Weller to see if I could scrounge up a laker or two but mother nature had other ideas. It got really bumpy really quick (NE winds tend to do that).. Decided to call it a day. Warmest temps I found were 42, fish definitely liked the pea green water today. Boat ran great, going to give it a few weeks before heading back down again.
  9. I think it's just a coincidence. But that's just my opinion. Far better places to make a political statement then Yonge/Finch.
  10. 4-6lb Nano casts a mile. It's actually ridiculous.
  11. ......or he's just a lunatic and wanted to be killed by police which seems like the case here.
  12. Bass will chomp on those things! I might starting bringing my 6wt out in the boat more often
  13. Can't blame all this on the D. Where are the superstars? Matthews? Nylander? How many points have those guys put on the board? lol
  14. 15 years on the Avids. Which I guess replaces the lifetime.
  15. St.Croix Avid, 7ft Med-heavy. Can't beat the lifetime warranty (Which I've used more then once).. Great for bass or pike. After doing some reading St.Croix got rid of the lifetime warranty and put a 15 year warranty in it's place. For me, that's basically the same, lol.
  16. I would not trust a phone of any kind out in the bush. Get a GPS unit which was designed for that type of thing (I run a GPSMap 62s, works every time)
  17. I still think your issue here is with XWRP and not the dealership. I think you're going after the wrong people.
  18. Are you resting the rod on the boat or something? Even if it's bouncy out there, your rod tip should be fairly stationary if you're vertical fishing
  19. New helmet sticker for tonights game. Going to hand out a few to my buddies as well.
  20. Keep an eye on the regs, one certain river is barbless, single hook only
  21. 60in for sure. You can always raise it... you can't lower a 54 any further then 54
  22. 6-10 - 7ft, medium light, fast or xtra fast to toss those small baits. 1000 series reel with 4lb or less Nanofil.
