Thinking about a transducer upgrade my for dad's 747c. Wondering if the Quadrabeam transducer is as helpful as I think it might be. Currently on the boat is the 83/200hz beams which is really nice. My dad and I do quite a bit of shore busting and the side view would really help with those sneaky bass underneath the docks/boat houses. Anyone have anything good or bad to say? Transducers are pretty cheap, around $70US or so...

It's nice to see all the guys I used to watch as a kid still on the show to.. The only thing I would change about the Angling Edge is the tad bit of religion Al likes to throw in there once in a while, but hey that show can't be 100% perfect Hopefully my 2 year subscription to The Musky Hunter magazine gets here soon!!

What do people expect when 80% of all the call centers are located in either Quebec of India? Outsourcing is definitely cheaper for a company, but the QOS has gone downhill considerably.

Never had my card declined at the till and that's exactly what is on the back of mine I think about 10% of the people working the registers even pay attention anymore.

I have 2 Quantum 'Rippin Reels' that we've had forever. I used them until the start of last year when I upgraded to a new Shimano Citica. Besides loose handles, they are in perfect shape. I think I am going to pick up another rod and use the spare Quantum also. Having 3 baitcast setups in your arsenal is good right?

Be careful, someone might use the same lure and catch all the fish in the lake...

My oldman has a really nice old Mitchell reel that's been solid ever since the day he bought it. He's had it ever since I can remember, atleast 15-20 years.

Obviously I haven't I am going to try some TopRaiders along with a few of the monster Zara Spooks.. Should be decent early in the season when the fish are still somewhat shallow.

I was born in St.Catharines, lived there for 26 years. My parents have pictures of the '77 storm, massive amounts of snow. We got atleast 2ft up here in Barrie with drifts well over 4ft. The plow left a 5ft wall at the end of my driveway lastnight, lol.

From what I've read, most people use the MapCreate software to load road maps/POI's into the H20C unit.

We used to catch hundreds of those little leopard frogs up on Buckhorn lake when I was a kid. I hated when my dad used them at bait, lol!!! I am also getting softer with age.. Hell I don't like when my dad keeps fish anymore.. If it were up to me, everything would be put back in the lake!

Ah man that's awful!!! Hopefully the blindness is due to swelling and that will get better after time... My 2 kittens go in Monday morning for spay/neuter along with declawing.. They'll be there 3 nights..

Dropped off at BPS today and picked up some stuff. To bad they were out of the Bluefox muskie buzzbait I was after (go figure). I did however pick up some nice plastics.. I asked a guy in a pro shirt a question about a swimbait I was looking at, and he walked me around the plastics and showed me exactly what I needed to match up what was already in my basket. Real nice guy, didn't seem to mind my newbie questions (I'm not much of a plastics guy, I rarely jig, but am making a point of jigging this year for smallmouth and pickeral)
