Mike, that was hands down the best 2 days of fishing I've ever had. The 'bags of death' worked so well. I still can't get the smell off my hands!!! (I have all the roe on the counter right now drying out ) I am glad the winds died down a bit at the mouth on the first day, those chromers were an absolute blast! I cannot wait until the spring bud! The new/old rod is awesome even with the funky reel seat, lol. I'm sure we'll have many more just like it.. I hope you enjoy NF!

I am sure you are worse off then me, I shouldn't be complaining, lol. It was great to meet you man, I had an awesome time fishing with you today. The fishing got hot every 30 mins or so, pretty much what it was like the entire day. I wish I got a pic of you talking on the phone and setting the hook..

Main channel of the French river is FULL of smallmouth, especially in the fall.. 50+ fish days easy.

They have pretty much every tube you could ever need. Size, colour, everything.

Nice set of Simms waders if anyone needs a pair. Can't beat $150 for breathables.

I tend to think these are to attract the angler, and not so much the fish Maybe someone else will chime in with their thoughts.

My 20inch Ariens was great last season and no hiccups yet this season. I love the fact that I can prime the balls 2 or 3 times and pull it once and she fires right up. I used the electric start only once this year (When my dumbass forgot to drain the tank at the end of last season)

Mike, I'm still giggling like a schoolgirl What a day!! I have never experienced a day like that, and from I'm told that's an 'average' day for that place. It was a long day (out of the house by 2am, back home at around 9:30pm) but worth it. I couldn't have asked for better company, the pleasure was all mine. I'm sure we'll have a few more days like this (bring on the spring!). I am sore all over today, I think it might be time to upgrade to a rod with a little more backbone, those fish beat me up pretty good. I still haven't got the stink out of my vest from those monster, nasty things you were using as bait :)
