  1. The gold blade + black body with the little green spots have worked pretty good for me. I like that fact that I can slow my retrieve down with the PM's and not have the spinner sink to the bottom (Like the blue fox do)
  2. You should use that pic for some Riverwood advertising, would make a good pamphlet photo. Nice fish, great colours.
  3. Nope, the oldman and I are usually hitting Gloucester, GBay, etc etc.. We never head south, lol
  4. I feel like such an idiot living in Barrie for 3 years and never wetting a line in Simcoe... I gotta change that this year.

Are we actually having a debate about killing lampreys? I wouldn't stomp it into the ground either but I wouldn't feel bad at all about slicing it's head off..
  6. Make sure you have a map of the local area, GBay is not a place to run around without a map. If you are fishing for pike, you might wanna pick up some dead bait before you leave. That would most likely be your best bet for pike in May. It really does depend on the water temp though, if it's warmed up they would have already started to move out on the weed edges.
  7. I thnk headlights on a boat would be worse then someone driving with their highbeams on, can you imagine the reflection off the water? From what I've read, they are illegal in most states, I would *assume* they'd most likely be illegal here to.
  8. I use 14's for pretty much everything... Pick up a few bags of each.. Unlike the Raven flouro, I haven't had any issues with their hooks..
  9. If you are using big bags, 8's are fine....
  10. :EDIT:
  11. Master of your Domain.
  12. OFC Overlord.
  13. I usually run 12 or 14's... If I am running bags of death for stupid Lake E fish I'll use an 8... Just size it with your bait, if you are running big bags or skein like Dave mentioned, you need to upsize your hooks.... Also instead of just looping the hook through the top of the bag, I usually pull it through a bit and hook the tip through the side of the bag as well. Make's it as snagless as possible.
  14. Wayne, I think you missed my point. I was saying if it was illegal to keep fishing after your limit of two, the mortality rates wouldn't be the same. Hell, maybe I'd be killing more fish by NOT keeping any lol
  15. Whoops, yeah I meant keep. How would the mortality rates be the same if you were never allowed to sink hooks into those 18 other fish? The math doesn't add up.
  16. My oldmans has one mounted on his wall, about 15lbs or so. Caught it in the late 70's off of Port Weller.
  17. Yup, that's the prob.. It's up to the CO if he is going to charge you with possession if you take the fish out of the water for a pic, etc. Personally I think if you catch your 2, you should be done for the day.
  18. I only got out 3 days last week, not 4
  19. There are always crowds here, you think one post is somehow going to make it any worse? OMG SOME SHAKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LETS PACK THE KIDS UP AND GO!!!!!! :shakes head:
  20. I think I just dropped a hit of acid.
  21. Nothing beats a GBay/Huron trib fish...
  22. Not on that river... There is maybe a 200ft section down to the mouth that you are allowed to fish.. Now picking the right side is a different matter, lol
  23. Good job man!! I need to take a trip back up there. Hit it about a month ago, and it was freeeezing
  24. haha! I haven't caught a damn thing on the Notty with my centerpin so there might as well be no fish in there anyhow
  25. I thought the sarcasm in my reply was obvious
