  1. Wow Joey, that's a pig! Awesome pics as well
  2. I had frays all up and down the first 6ft of line after half a day of fishing..
  3. A couple of threads from someone with 11 posts total. Think about that ratio for a second.
  4. How many threads do you plan on making? I'm not trying to be an ass, but come on man.. If you've got a bunch of questions, make a single thread..
  5. I'm no welder, I'll take your word for it
  6. Brandon, those are outstanding! I was up in the French River area for almost a week, but cloud cover every single night! I was really looking forward to breaking out the 10-22mm and getting some shots!
  7. I wouldn't think you'd wanna mig cast iron, braze perhaps.
  8. Put 20lb PPro back on the Calais yesterday, problems are gone. I did notice the 832 liked to fray a lot as well. Live and learn I guess. I've still got some on a few of my spinning setups, but will probably be going back to 6lb Fireline Crystal on them to.
  9. It's definitely going to be interesting in the middle of July from a canoe You'd probably be better off fishing smallmouth.
  10. I'll patiently await for that PM :)
  11. Cool, I thought they would have stuck to stocking local fish in that thing. I'll have to look for that beast the next time I'm at BPS!
  12. You sure those aren't channel cats?
  13. This is another reason why I have rider insurance on all my gear. If you don't, you should.
  14. I cross the chains and hook from the bottom. They have spring loaded clips on them as well, similar to a carabiner.
  15. It's not going to hurt a thing. Most synthetic premixes are compatible with conventional premix oils.. What does the bottle say?
  16. Give Hitch City a call. Installing a hitch is a pretty simple process. I definitely wouldn't let anyone at Crappy Tire lay a hand on my car.
  17. It's a great choice man, you won't regret it.
  18. Your battery would fall under the 'standard' category.
  19. Nice muskie! (No need for the Boga grip, they won't kill you )
  20. I love fishing that stretch of river. Doesn't get much fishing pressure considering the amount of boat traffic.
  21. Wow, she running a 1D or similar with some L glass attached? eek
  22. Pick each one up and see how you like the ergonomics..
  23. Yup.. I think it's the 'limpness' of this new line that's most likely the issue. When wet it likes to lay down on the blank anytime there is slack and wraps itself up. Perhaps I'll have to try some on my spinning outfits and see how it goes. Perhaps maybe even moving up to 30-40lb might help on the baitcaster, currently running 20lb.
  24. New rod? No, I've landed hundreds of fish on this thing. Only thing new in the equation is the line
