How is it black and white? You just stated in a previous reply about having it out of the water for a certain amount of time to remove a deeply hooked fish. There are way too many variables to even consider this a black and white issue. Time out of water, reason for it being out of water, handling of the fish while it's out of the water, etc etc etc.

I've caught some monster smallmouth on TopRaiders while fishing muskie on the French I guess I just can't grasp the concept of a person saying they've caught a PB when the fish wasn't in season and cannot be legally targeted.

You don't have to appear in court, you only do if you want to challenge it. If you challenge it you appear in Provincial Court. Of course the regs are 'law' why would you assume otherwise?

BB, the 407 is a choice, unfortunately in NY there isn't much of an alternatives to the thruways.. I do agree however, it's not very expensive.. I think it's about $6 or so from Buffalo to the PA border.. Hardly a bank breaker. BTW, you forgot to tell us how much that MRI would cost you
