If you knew where this fish was caught, there is absolutely no possible chance it made it up from Lake Superior. Seeing that someone else caught a brown on that same river system in the same week, I think brown trout is the easy choice. Will be interesting to see what with the MNR comes back with though after seeing the picture.

Humminbird works fine behind TaylorMade windshield as well.. Very odd problem.

You can still get aftermarket lenses for them (They've been around for a while because of the underwater focusing issue with the previous model)

You are allowed one hook and it has to be barbless.. That hook can be a treble.

If that's an Atlantic, it must have one hell of a vertical jump to make it in from the big lake.

Lake Trout fishing in the dead of summer isn't very hard. You know where the fish are going to be opposed to after ice out. Sounds like you are on the ball... Might wanna add a gang troll to your box, but that's totally up to you.. I'd stick to smaller NK spoons, husky jerks, J11's, etc...

I've caught a few Lake O browns which have zero red on them.

All of the mid/top tier DSLR's these days shoot video. My 60D does 1080p 30fps and also 720p 60fps, still gotta make my first fishing vid.

Make sure you check out the Panasonic Lumix TS-3 as well.. That's what I've got, great little camera for the price.

Roy, do you thatch every year as well? We've got a lot of sand up here in Barrie, my front lawn is extremely patchy.. Also doesn't help that the city puts about 500lbs of sand/salt on the sidewalk beside my house which makes it's way onto my lawn anything they clear the snow.

Half the 'numbers' guys post up are Bull anyway... Some guy catches 10-15 fish and he think he's put 30 to the bank, lol! Most guys on the river are extremely easy to talk to and willing to give you a hand.. Sitting there drift after drift with no fish requires a change, whether that's over all rig length, bait, etc etc. Expecting fish to show up and take your offering after it's been down the same run a dozen times is the definition of insanity Switch it up!

I'm the sure engine was run at the factory before it was put on your boat. I wouldn't worry too much about metal floating around in there.

That is definitely a brown!! I'm sure a huge surprise up there!
