First thing he says is 'You should have been using barbless!', lol!!! Talked fishing for 15mins while the local took, then he cut the hook, pushed it through and I was all done. I also offered to take him out for some steelheading in the fall, he seemed super pumped (We exchanged contact info)...

If you've got porposing, you've over trimmed the motor..

If you've got space on the gunnels, why not just mount them? We've got a few of the flush mount Scottys on the Lund.. Work great for anything we've put in them (Even dipsys out on Lake O)

Great idea. We did the same on our old 15ft Legend.. Made it a completely different boat (Also gets some weight over the front as well)

I'd definitely be extending that casting platform over the batteries!

How many times are the dealers told 'I'll be back tomorrow with a cheque' and that guy never shows up? Dealer should have asked for a deposit, if not the OP should have offered to put $500 down to hold the motor.

30 degrees and sunny? Not a good day to try and fish one of the most pressured systems in all of southern Ontario. It's tough fishing at the best of times... If you do go, bring your sunscreen
