Thanks for the info.....I have done some research and haven't found anything on his camps....I did find that he has been suspended a couple times but made sure it was not for safety reasons....I will continue to look at other spots because of your advise.....like you said, Buyer Beware! thanks again! Has anyone been out with Chapleau Outfitters & Air Service?? I just met Lee Cole at a fishing show in Detroit and he seems like he is a good honest Dude.....My Dad and I are thinking of going with him for a week.....the price that he gave us includes all our food, boat, bait, and 2 separate fly outs to different lakes for other species....please let me know if you have any info on him and his camp...thanks! Hey Mepps, was there last year and got out fishing on the ocean.....I took a party boat with a bunch of Buddies from Brick New Jersey.....it was a really great time!!! We fished for fluke....we ended up with about 20 or so between the 5 of us we also got a ton of small sharks, ocean robins and a couple other types that I didn't know what they were?? It was really cool a couple of Japanese fishermen were with us and they caught a couple of fish and we had fresh sushi right on the boat....make sure to bring your lunch and a bunch of beers and have a blast!!!! Not too sure about the fresh water fishing?? I know one of my Buddies goes to New York State for bass and musky but not sure how far away you would be to good fishing??? Hope you get out!!! Chrispy!

Way to go!! We did good 2 weeks ago straight out of Wheatley harbour about 3.5 - 4 miles.....usually we run about 8 miles out but there was tons of baitfish straight out the harbour....it was great for steel out of Wheatley the last couple years!!! Again congrats on your LEGAL catch!!! Chrispy!

Went out of Wheatley with FishTracker (Jerry) on Sunday...... Got up @ 4:00, met up with Jerry at 5:00 and was on the water by 6:00 or so..... and I don’t think we had all 4 rods in the water and we had a bow on.....it was non stop action for most of the day!! We went 18 for 20 on the bows, a couple of nice walleyes and a ton of sheephead....the coolest part of the day was when we said that we are going to go in around 11:30....just around 11:30 one dipsey went off and one downrigger....double header to end a great day fishing!!!! We were straight out of the harbour about 3.5 - 4 miles in 50 something feet of water..... Look for the huge bait balls, that is where the fish are!!!! Downrigger balls went 25-30 feet down and dipseys were at 75 feet.....Rainbow and black/white/silver spoons took most of the fish..... Nice to go out with someone guides, Jerry put us on fish right away and kept us on the fish all the time we were out..... Chrispy!

There are some good areas around Mitchells Bay......here is a forum that focuses on the Bay and Lake St. Clair.... http://www.basshavencanada.com/swamp/index.php There are some good reports and talk to the SwampMaster.....he will let you know of some good places for perch, bass, musky and walleye...... Way to go!!! I seen that Paul (Fisheye) got the big one.....Woodies are the bait for slimmers on St. Clair that's a fact!!! From what I heard you guys did the best out of all the musky hunters that day!!! Congrats!!! Chrispy!

Bucktail, the best would be City Marina http://www.citywindsor.ca/002001.asp You can google it for directions.....from there just look to see where the boats are.....you have to have an electric trolling motor or a kicker.....When you are jigging you MUST stay as vertical as possible or you won't catch walleye!! You can shoot me an e-mail when you are coming and I will let you know where we are catching fish..... Chrispy!

Me and CastMaster went out of LaSalle on Friday for a couple hours....it was really cold out there!!!! Only managed one nice male around 2.5 pounds but if we would have stayed there we would have picked up more.....they are all over the river right now and it is going to really heat up in the next couple weeks!!!! Come on down to the area and get into some walleye!!!! Chrispy!

Check out the Detroit River.....some big pigs will be around anytime!! And it's open now.... Chrispy!

Got caught in this one on Erie fishing for steelhead....got pretty scary since it knocked out our GPS and had to use the compass to get back the marina... Chrispy!

Hey Matt, go to the restaurant at the hotel and ask them for some shrimp....they will usually give it too you....and I'm sure that some spoons would work as well....bring stuff that is not too expensive and give them to the locals when you are done with them....you will make someone's day for sure!!! Have a great time, I've been there a few times and always had a blast....I leave next Monday for Puerta Vallarta Mexico....take care!! Chrispy!
