  2. Good on you for catching him on an artifical. Are you using gulp? Thats a giant slab fer sure. Must have been a great dual. Congrats.
  3. No gas motor is allowed. Only electric. We were there on monday. Lots of pike and oos largies around. We were using spinnerbaits and jerkbaits. Good luck.
  4. Excellent job Jedi. Nice looking lure you found. Great setup you have there. I hope to go to Guelph lake for some crappie soon. Thanks for posting.
  5. Just wondering if you can get power handles for a 200 series calcutta? I can only find them for the larger models. Any info is appreciated. Thank you.
  6. They must have been delicious!!! Nice job.
  7. That picture is priceless. At least the catfish swam away. At least he caught something. I would let it count too. Thanks for posting, I found it very amusing.
  8. Great report ReefRunner. Looks like you had a great day on the water with some beauty fish to boot. Congrats on that beauty walleye. Cheers.
  9. Great report and pics Mike. It must have felt good gettin some fishin in. Kudo's to you as well with your baitcaster. Thanks for posting.
  10. What an adventure. It sure is nice up there. Great fishing and scenery. I bet those waldos taste yummy too. Great report and pics. Well done.
  11. Great report as always. You always slay the bass. Hence your name. It must have been one hell of a day. Can't wait to see your next report.
  12. Great job man. It must be a real thrill and sense of accomplishment to catch one from shore. Congratulations.
  13. Who cares what color his boat is. You'll be fine with your 4x4 toyota. Its a rough ramp but you can make it.
  14. I would throw a large M&G all day. Watch your lure every reterive. Also, don't forget to figure 8. Haggisbasher nailed a monster at boatside with a figure eight. So exciting. They hit when you least expect it. Make as many casts as you can and you will be rewarded.
  15. Me, Haggisbasher and peech on hit up my favourite Kawartha lake for two days of musky fishing this past week. We had a great adventure. In all 8 fish were boated with about another 10 follows or missed strikes. The first day was the best. Conditions were perfect. The biggest two measured in at 44 inches. Both Haggisbasher and peech on boated those critters. I was so jealous. I joked afterwards that it was like a fly in. Ill never forget this day. Enjoy.
  16. Hit the slop and start pitching plastic creatures or gulp worms. Don't forget your topwater baits too. The water is really high. The bass are hiding.
  17. Hello all. Just wondering if any of you have successfully caught brookies through the ice at night and what baits are most productive? Any tips or advice would be appreciated. I have tried before but with little luck. Anxious to hear any input. Cheers.
  18. I 2nd Danbos input. I use braid for everything and if your worried about stealth, use a fluoro leader. Seaguar premier leader material is the best. 20lb leader material with 15 lb diameter. Pricy though, but worth it. This stuff is super tuff despite its smaller diameter. Hasn't broken yet. Also, learn how to tie the uni knot. Your line is only as good as the knots you tie.
  19. Great report as always. I would have like to seen scantly clad pics of your friend though. Nice job and sounds like you had a great weekend.
