I personally would cure minnows n take them with you. We go up past North Bay every August and I bring 12 dozen worms and 12 dozen frozen n salted minnows. Takes a bit of prework but i think its worth it.

I fished it for one afternoon about 5yrs ago. It was over 100degrees Farenheit tho n we only managed a cpl small bass. Wemarked fish on the bottom in like 80ft of water n tried jigging for them but no luck. We basically had zero direction on what part of the lake to fish.

Well since our Habs r done looks like ill b cheering for Chicago. The West is just way too strong.

Well i got my first steelie today on the centerpin then a 29" male bottom bouncin. Great day. Guess I need another new goal. Break 10lbs w a steelie?? We'll see

Im going for my first true Steelie on my 'pin. Caught a little shaker last year but was hardly enough to bend the rod. Another goal is to get to a certain backwoods pike lake in search of a 40" fish.

I know, im just saying dont expect the world from these guys.

Just dont get your hopes up so high if I were you. Marner n Strome are good prospects but not in the same league as Mcdavid n possibly Eichel. I could see Strome being about as good as his brother; potential 30 goal scorer but not a 50goal scorer. Look at guys like RNH/Hall/Eberle for example, above average players but not really game changers. Just my opinion.

Watched a couple shows last night. Wild Fish Wild Places could be amazing except they only show like 30seconds of footage from every place they go.(or atleast yesterdays episode did)

I put my tackle in my suitcase and just carried my rod on the plane w me last summer on the way to Edmonton.

A few years ago i was on a seadoo on Lake St Clair in August down by Stoney Point. There were literally hundreds of Musky sunning themselves in the clear water. It was honestly one of the craziest things i have seen, everywhere you looked it was muskies. 50"+ fish are landed every weekend on St Clair.

Last year they opened permits South of hwy 60 before other parts of the park. So there still might end up being options for the first week of May.

How about Lake St Clair? Arguably the best Musky lake in the world. Tons of reports of 10+ fish days w lots of 50"+ fish to be had.

+1Id call it semi-pro at best lol A couple grand a year in fishing supplies does not make you a pro in my books. Also, even if it is a 'report' its pretty sad when you cant write even half way proper english. Or spell for that matter.
