    Niagara

I'd guess it's somewhere around Welland I wasn't really too fimilar with the area because I was not driving, but any access at all. We did not have the time to drive really far because my brother in law's fuel pump was almost about dead so we had to head home.
  9. When I started steelheading I used 30lb pp and I didn't get a hit. I got some advice from the board and switched to fluro line (seaguar) and have been alot more success and have been able to land my first steelie ever. I'd go with the board on this one, wouldn't hurt to have a extra spool of fluro in your tackle box. Good luck.
  10. I was in the Niagara region this weekend to do a little shopping and we drove by I think it was the Welland Canal and then we drove around a bit to see if we could access it from shore and toss a few lures around but we could not find shore access. There was gates that said Security Notice and No Tresspassingso we didn't even bother going down. Just wondering were we could find some shore access to the canal. Anything would be great, Thanks in advance.
  11. Gave them a try on the weekend and didn't end up getting any carp but caught a bunch of bullhead. The carp were jumping everywhere though. There was 1 mintue were the water was calm. I guess it's still a little early for carp. Anyone know how long they spawn?
  12. I didn't really mean it that way. Sorry if I offended anyone and thanks Roy for editing as it could of started another argument. I aplogize and I'll take the time to read my comments before I post next time.
  13. Yep sure do. Although when I go perching I always see different people keep them and when I mean keep them I mean the'll be hundreads laying all over the pier. I know you can keep a couple for your garden but every weekend with that much fish, come on. I wonder what they do with them edit: I took the liberty of editing your post as I know you did not mean to generalize as to which racial group was keeping fish.
  14. I know how it feels. I thought I had a big walleye on at Dunnville Dam and as it got closer I saw the silver flash of a football and it sucked!!! Evene a big cat would be nice but those dam sheephead are good for nothing. Thier not even in the OFC tourney!!
  15. Awsome report and sweet pics, good to hear your enjoying your weekend. Wtg fishindevil
  16. #2 for me, we keep perch and the odd walleye
  17. Too bad about the big pike, maybe you'll get a bigger one next time. Always look forward to reading your reports. And my guess for a healthy chunky 32" pike is 6-7lbs
  18. Hey everyone thanks for all the great tips. Just have one more question. I tried to put corn on last night and I put all the corn on after the loop. Just wondering if corn should go on the loop as well ?
  19. Hey this testicle might catch Team 3 a big carp
  20. I tried making boilies and hair rigs today and afer I made the boilies I tried and put the loop of the hair rig threw the hole and has a having a bit of the problem. I could see the hole perfect but the line didn't wana go threw. After struggling with it for 30 mintues I finally put it threw. So when i'll be fishing with this in the future is thier any easier ways of getting this loop threw the hole. And I also tried to stick the toothpick on it and guide it threw but it jsut fell off. Any tips? Here's a pic of it lol
  21. I don't fish for carp with a hair rig, so what would be the best way to hook them. Thinking of just using steelhead hooks and hide the hook in the boilie.
  22. Seemed a little confused at first cause I talked to most of the people on the peir coming back and would reconize someone from the OFC board. But we never bumped into each other because we weren't fishing on the same pier!!
  23. Are you talking about the dover pier??
