  1. Here are a few Attawapiskat fish from yesterday. I got these today from a group of my very good friends that are out there right now
  2. I've had nothing but great customer service from Fishing World.
  3. For Balsam only in zone 17 with a Sport fishing License: You can not keep any walleye between 14.6-21.7 inches. You can keep 4 but none between these measurements. And only one of those 4 fish can be over the size of 21.7 inches. So, you can keep 4 under 14.6, and you have to stop targeting walleye. If you have had caught and kept one over 21.7 then you can only keep 3 more under 14.6 inches and you have to stop targeting walleye. To be fair, I've caught walleyes on Balsam under a slot size of 14.6 inches and they had a body mass smaller then an 7'' inch perch, something to consider if you want to keep fish of that size from there.
  4. I've had one of the worst customer services from that store in my life, and not only from that lady. I completely forgot about them, haven't been there in a long time.
  5. Stay away from TopGun Marine as far as possible. I have friends and pro's that had been doing business with him for a very long time, he was highly recommended by them. Nothing but problems last few years from Paul and his "crue". I can write an essay on all the problems that they had, but don't have the time to do it. Its just a warning.
  6. Just go, if some one responds and tells you its amazing then you'll be sharing a spot with 100 people...when you could have an amazing day with only a few people there
  7. 1 fish out of 30 or so people just before the wash out. And its been horrible since ice out.
  8. Snidley, shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!!!!!!
  9. Watch this movie, its really good. "Inside Job" 2010
  10. Just drove from Orangeville to Toronto. Slippery , and very dangerous. Lots of cars in ditches North of MajorMac on Highway 404. 400 and Highway 9 is really bad. Stay Safe Sunday and take your time.
  11. Try Fireline Crystal, best line I've used
  12. My friend made me buy those minnows for him. I think I was over dressed for fishing that day, he must of took me for an out of town fisherman that won't be back. I talked with him for a bit after my purchase, and when I was about to leave he asked me if I wanted a bait card. I told him no because I don't use minnows, but he gave it to me anyways stamped 3 times, twice over what I had purchased, so I think he felt bad when he over charged me. Here is a pic of the fish I caught that day using various plastics (Jensen eggs, tubes, gulp, powerbait). Every thing I caught was over 8 inches. Where my friend using various lures tipped with minnows couldn't get anything over 8''. I mean not a single fish over the 8 inch mark and I was also getting 3 times as many as him. I have to say that there are days that minnows will out fish artificial's, but 9.9 out of 10 times plastics prevail We even buy minnows just in case of a hard bite, but we never get to use more then a few and we switch right back to artificials, they always work I'm just trying to save you guys a lot of skin/bone pain now and in the feature from constantly wetting your hands in cold weather. There is just no need for minnows when fishing for perch.
  13. Innisfil Bait & Tackle at the corner of 89 and Yonge charges $6 per scoop Don't use minnows for perch, all you need is plastics, they out fish minnows
  14. Get Sufix or Power pro, but don't exceed 15 lbs. The thicker you go the stiffer it would be. The only difference you will see in different spool sizes is when you make long distance casts. For jigging, small spool makes no difference. Get a reel with bigger spool for casting, it makes a huge difference in controlling line twists
  15. I had the pleasure of fishing with Bob, he is one of the nicest and kindest fisherman Congratulations on your day Scotty

  19. Knipex are a must, if you don't have them=don't even try fishing for musky. My friend and I have had 2 muskies this past weekend that had 3 points of the treble in their mouth. Just like Pigeontroller has mentioned, their mouths were completely shut. Using Knipex we had to cut everything off, split ring and all points of the treble. Knipex saved those fishes lives, and they were back in the water under 30 Seconds also, get a nice big net, not those small, tail splitting nets. These Knipex that Lowes have are the ones you need, nothing else even comes close to Knipex Tight Lines Here is a nice video showing how fast muskies get stressed... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrKGuUdR-7k&feature=player_embedded
  20. For the beautiful pictures and great people. Don't have time to fish, so its so nice to view the reports at the end of a hard day
