I just spoke with a fine gentleman from Angler's Outfitters in Woodstock. He doesn't have the complete kits, but is willing to build me a complete set-up for A LOT less money. He even told me to bring in both my Hds 10 and Hds 5 and he'll set them up properly. It's real nice to see that excellent customer service still exists.

Everywhere I've looked is BACKORDERED....I have checked Radio World, Bass Pro, Lebarons, Gagnons. Does anyone know any store that has them IN STOCK. I already have the Hd5 and I heard many great things about the ice pack....GPS, Flasher, Fish Finder all in one Thanks Jason

Speaking of boat launch comedies....I've experienced my own!!! I usually go fishing with my good buddy and we have our launching routine, I sit in the boat and he backs down the ramp and goes to park the van and empty trailer. I usually sit there and idle the boat and wait for him to come back and off we go. Will this morning was different...we launched...he left to go park and I had to take a number #2 in the port-a-bote next to the launch and couldn't wait for him to come back. So I QUICKLY tied up the boat and QUICKLY ran to the washroom...it was an emergency at this point!!! So I'm sitting there in the washroom taking care of business when I hear him yelling....the boat!!!...the boat!!! So I'm thinking to myself that the boat had come untied at the dock and was drifting out in the lake....nope...in my rush to take care of business I forgot to put THE PLUG in the boat and it was sinking FAST!!! Thank God my buddy was there or it would have sunk to the bottom of the lake....there was a TON of water in the boat but we managed to get the plug back in and use the bilge and drive very fast out into the lake while pulling the plug back out to drain the rest of the water!!! I never take the boat plug out exempt for winter storage...but it had rained LOTS during the week so I decided to pull the plug to drain the water while it was sitting in my driveway and forgot to put it back in!!! I'm sure there have been a few of us with accidents at the boat launch over the years. Let's hear some..... Jason

Sorry to hear about your troubles....I agree park it at Bass Pro in Vaughan and call the press. That is absolutely crazy!!! I was actually sitting in a Tracker 3-4 weeks ago trying to decide what to buy....thank god I went with a Stratos out of Bridgenorth Sports Marine. Great guys to deal with. Prime example I forgot (MY VAULT) to open the pressure gas relief valve the 1st DAY I brought the boat home...parked it in the driveway, went to work the next day, came home to gas on the side of boat and driveway. I had overfilled the tank and with the heat the gas expanded and somewhat blew open the relief valve and did some minor damage to the seal. They fixed it....NO CHARGE and it was my vault. I hope you get everything resolved!!!

I was wondering if there is any HDS seminars in the GTA area to help optimize the full potential of these new units with Structure Scan. I have read the manuals and searched online and found some helpful info, but a hands on seminar would certainly help. These units are amazing but I just want to learn more!!! If anyone in the GTA area that TRULY knows how to use them to their fullest potential is interested in going fishing on rice lake in the next couple of weeks.....let me know. I wish Lew....don't have $50,000 to spend on a boat!!! But I managed to pick up the Stratos 176 XT with a 75HP Mercury Optimax with the HDS 10, HDS 5 and Lss-1 Structure Scan with a 80LB Terrova with IPILOT. Brought her home yesterday and can't wipe the grin off my face since. They took me out and did a test run..hit 43-44MPH.....fast enough for me. Gonna to be a long COLD and WET day Saturday driving around for 6 hours to break her in.

Actually I'm scheduled to pick up my new boat from there today or Friday. I usually don't promote or spam things but these guys have been awesome with the whole boat buying ordeal. Frank (owner) won't even let me take the boat home without an ON WATER TEST to ensure that I am happy and everything is performing well. Great guys to deal with!!! Jason

Motor $3300.00 GPS/Fish finder $1200.00 Minn Kota Powerdrive $ 850.00 + BOAT and Trailer.....you do the math. I think it is FAIR price to ask. I just bought a new boat....so my current boat needs to find a new home and I would like to know APPROXIMATELY how much it's worth. Just purchased a new Stratos 176XT and I need to find a boat cover. My boat will be left in the water for 6-7 months a year in a marina or at my dock.....I will store it on land during the winter months of course, so I need a cover that I am able to put on while the boat is sitting in the water when and I'm not there. I called a few places for a custom snap on cover and they want upwards of a $1000.00 bucks!!! What are my options? Thanks Jason

Well actually Bass Pro Shops have them in stock....I got the HDS 10, HDS 5 and the LSS-1 and price matched with Radio World. Just brought in the Checkout Cart from Radio World showing all 3 items. In and out the door in about 15 minutes for a grand total of $4113.00 Ouch!!!! Although I saved around 500 bucks by prize matching. When I left they still had 2-HDS 10's 6-LSS-1's and MANY HDS-5 Called my boat dealer and he's waiting on my Terrova I-pilot to come in.....apparently there is a back order on those.

I just bought a new boat and I am looking to purchase the HDS 10 for console and the HDS 5 for the bow mount with the LSS-1 structure scan. It's ALOT of money to invest so I'm looking to find the CHEAPEST place to purchase or someone willing to price match with RadioWorld because they are OUT OF STOCK (except for HDS 5). Anyone have any ideas? Would love to have them installed on new boat by this Friday!!! Thanks Jason

We were out on Saturday out of Golden Beach resort area...lots of ice....everywhere we went in the SHELTERED bay there was 10-12 " of good black ice. As for Bewdley..at B.J.'s Tackle....they had minnows (pinheads) $5.00 scoop. HUGE scoop actually. He said he was going to drive out Saturday afternoon....guess he did. It was COLD!!!!
