The most popular format is the "Head to head" format. You go 1-on-1 against another manager each week and you get a "record" based on how you do against them in the stat categories on that particular week. (great for bragging rights as well) Example 7 categories (goals, assists, +/-, ppp, shots, win, shutouts) Team 1 vs team 2, team 3 vs team 4 Team 1 goes 4-2-1, Team 2 goes 2-4-1 Team 3 goes 5-1-1, Team 4 goes 1-5-1 Pool Standings Team 3 (5-1-1) Team 1 (4-2-1) Team 2 (2-4-1) Team 4 (1-5-1) Records just keep adding up each week. Great pool for active owners. Nice competitive pool where adding/dropping/trading players comes into play and a bad few weeks can kill you. And obviously the more managers and stat categories, the better.

EXACTLY! If you buy a "cheap-o" pair for $20, you treat them exactly like that as well. When you realize that good quality glasses/lenses are head and shoulders above the cheap ones, you'll fork out the cash and MAKE SURE to take care of them. Sure, s##t happens and you could lose/break them but if you drop $200+ on a pair of glasses.... trust me... you'll take care of them as best you can. I dont know about anyone else, but if I have a bait/hook/weight flying at my face at mach 3... I dont want to trust $20 plastic lenses to protect my eyes! Always remember... you get what you pay for.

Since the season is just around the corner and I see that people are already loving the "Leafs" thread.... so it got me thinking. Would any fellow OFC members be interested in a hockey pool? No entry fee, just for fun.... Yahoo! has amazing pools, and I could easily set one up if there's enough interest in it... Maybe even turn it into a competitive keeper pool that continues year to year?

Kadri is one of the most overrated and arrogant players in the league for having not proved anything in his career... He's one of those players that shows up against the worst teams in the league, then disappears against any decent team. Where was he in the playoffs??? Did he even play?? lmao. He needs to put his ego aside, until he actually proves something in the league. Last year was a complete joke and def not a way to accurately measure teams or players, only playing half the teams in the league and half the games. Hence why the Leafs actually made the playoffs.... We'll see how the Leafs and SIDNEY KADRI do in a full season against ALL the teams.
