He's been in his head since at least December when he yanked him against the wings. All year the coach has handled the 2 goalies differently. It can be argued that just the way it goes, but the reality is that it has had a negative impact on Remier. The job of the coach is to win and he hasn't helped the team win by messing with Remier.

Curious. Price played the puck in the "no-go" zone but there was no call. Strange, since this is contrary to rule 27.8, and the refs always apply the letter of the rule book.

But he said it to the media. The Toronto media. He can say just about anything he wants in private, but to say what he said, the way he said it was a put down.

As much as Randy doesn't like Rimier he knows Mac isn't the answer. If he was he would have been in a long time ago.

1st one was 50/50. 2nd didn't look good. 3rd one was going 3 feet wide and Gleeson tipped it in, no chance.

If that were true then why call a player out? If they are a pro and don't need their tires pumped then surely telling them they're not good enough is equally ineffective. A good coach understands that there are three levels of conversation. What he says in front to the media. What he says in front of the team. What he says privately to a player. No good was going to come from Randy saying that to the media and if he doesn't understand that then he will be moving on.

Watch his shoulders. They never change. Sure his skates changed direction, sure his head turned, but his shoulders never changed. The Tampa player was looking at his numbers the whole time and ran him from behind. The second a player tells the trainer his neck is sore they assume the worst, and put a brace on him.

Welcome. My wife at least tries to take the Friday of the long weekends off. She used to work half days but now the drive north starts Thursday night.

Players are also taught to not hit someone when you're looking at his numbers. Rangers skates changed directions but his shoulders never did. He was going to get hit either way.
