  1. Not just yet Sinker, there's still one more softwater trip left tomorrow
  2. I think it's called the Niagara Parks Marina if I remember correctly but jwl can give you the proper name and directions when he sees this. I've never driven from the Peace Bridge end so I'd just get you all messed up if I tried.
  3. I tried a couple times earlier today to update but I kept getting the same message about the missing file, but I just tried again and everything is good now. As mentioned earlier, it musta been a glitch in AVG
  4. Cause nobody ever caught a musky while sitting at home in front of a nice warm fire on a cold day, that's why we do these things, Wayne
  5. Thanks Cliff, sunrise & moonset within a few minutes of each other tomorrow morning, just as were starting to fish. Could be good
  6. Anyone know what time tonights full moon will set and hopefully it's after sunrise tomorrow ??
  7. There's probably 50 baits in the box I'm bringing tomorrow Jack, but it's only gonna take one of them
  8. That's excellent Steve, we'll see you & Sonny at the marina at 8:00
  9. Gimme a call when your feeling up to it Rob.
  10. Roger, if the black & orange work the way I'm hoping, I'll GIVE you the rainbows
  11. Thanks fellers, as long as I'm not the only one, I won't worry about it right now. Guess it's true when they say "misery loves company"
  12. I use AVG and it automatically updates every day as id did this morning, but then a message popped up in the tool try saying my "A.bin file is missing", so I opened the AVG page and it said the same thing under the Update Manager, and at the top of the main page it now says my computer is not protected. I restarted the computer but it still says the same thing. I use Windows XP and IE..........any thoughts, please ??
  13. My brother had a similar problem with Boatland Canada a few years back. He ordered a boat/motor/trailer package and agreed on a price, providing they included a spare tire & wheel for the trailer and had it written into the contract and gave them the deposit, but when he went to pick the rig up a couple weeks later and pay off the balance owing, they tried to renege on the deal saying the spare would cut into their profit too much and they couldn't give it to him and offered him a used, dirty spare instead. It was only a couple days before the pickeral opener and he didn't have time to re-order a boat from another dealer. It took alot of arguing on his part and the threat of calling in his lawyer, but eventually Boatland decided to honor their part of the agreement and gave him what he payed for. Just shows how some dealers will try to weasle out of a deal after they get your down stroke.
  14. Most important tip for the Upper Niagara Wayne, if you can feel the cold mist on your face and feel the water rumbling under your boat, turn around and head the other way......FAST
  15. If we get enough muskies in the morning Wayne, we can haul a couple of them them over to Grand Island for a shore lunch
  16. Good to hear you guys are gonna make it afterall Wayne, and yes, my cell will be on and I should be there by 7:30 or so. That should give us 14 guys & 6 boats so it'll be a great day out there. You boyz gonna be coming to supper too ??
  17. Lew and Diane......LEWNDI
  18. Yup, let's definetely launch at the marina if it's available and won't take you all day to chop away the ice Jack, otherwise we can run down the road to Frenchmens. I've already got 45 pounds of salt in the back of the truck if we get into trouble.
  19. You have to decide whether the bait for the day will be orange & black, or black & orange. After that it's all easy
  20. Thanks Mike, that's good to hear, she'll definetely be the hit of the show.
  21. There's a few different calculators around and they all put that pretty lady well over 60 pounds, but nobody will ever know for sure. VERY BIG is probably close enough
  22. Thanks Tom, I've read that one before , but it's definetely worth reading again.
  23. Excellent interview and you could hear the excitement in his voice as he re-lived the fight. Sounds like their gonna have the reproduction done fairly fast and seeing as Dale lives in Ontario, I wonder if there's any chance he'll have it at the Musky Odyssey in April ??
  24. Thanks Randy, that was nice.
  25. Jacque, my old grandfather was a fanatic at crib and would take on all comers, but as the years progressed and his eyesight began to fade with age, it got harder for him to see the holes and insert the pegs, so my dad built him a 4' long board on legs with 1/8" x 2" pegs. It sat about 2' high, just like a coffee table, and him and his old buds could then sit for hours and enjoy the game. Great stuff
