I know "normal" citizens who are avid hunters who have hunted polar bears in the past it would have ruined them for a period of time if they had to pay a fine like that though. Don't be mad at these people for purchasing permits to hunt for Polar Bears, be angry at our government for allowing permits if anything.

Its not being stupid, I just don't judge people on how they want to live their lives. If they wan't to hunt exotic species, and can afford it while obtaining the proper permits good for them. Its not something I would be interested in doing, but if its what these peoples hobbies were and can afford it good for them.

So is that the problem of the (possibly uneducated) Mexican hunters about the species, or....the people distributing the permits?

They were from Mexican millionaires who have a big game hobby. If they can afford it, I don't see the issue.

I don't see any issue with it, they came hunting, made a mistake, paid their fine and move on. If they wish to come back hunting in Canada I wouldn't have any issues.

A very rich man that has a history of chasing exotic/big game...why not? if he can afford it.

Luckily these guys had deep pockets, because it sure seems like it was an honest mistake. Would be devastating for any normal citizen.

One of the best fishing areas in the world IMO between Timmins and Chapleau highway 101 and everything in the general area.

This game went nearly how I expected it. The players were too pumped up and lacked execution a "NEW" team always lacks. Biggest difference was the double plays the jays hit into and the passed balls that Arencibia gave up. Always gave up the passed ball after a Dickey walk which would let the runner advance easily. so on groundballs afterward it would let the runner advance to third rather than Clevland hitting into double plays as well. Clevland got 2 runs because of that tonight.

Lol I think its the southernmost zone that does have them open year-round. Can't hold me to that though.

Nope I'm from Timmins (ZONE 8) Smallmouth season is opened year round for us.

Well Since walleye,sturgeon and lake trout season will be closed when I'm home april 15th I will be targeting Brook Trout, Small Mouth and Pike until the middleish-end of may.

Yep, Eyes, Pike, Lakers, Specks are all abundant in that area

What lakes are you fishing in foleyet? Sorry I can't help you with the road situation. I'm from Timmins so I just take Highway 101 when I go to the foleyet area

How you looked at the lund predator? sounds like it might be good for you. Get the best of both worlds.

LOL this threads soo old. If you're still on here I spend my summers fishing the Foleyet area I'l happily tell you some spots.

Well I have never owned any bigger boats. (still a student on a budget haha) When I was at the boat show the Lund Rebel really stood out to me, by the sounds of what you're looking for the 16 foot rebel might be the right boat for you. Not too sure of the exact length with the trailer but I'm sure it would be close.

Its the fact that it may happen. I'm not saying that's the worst one neither just gave an example of idea that they had been thinking of. Another one was charging everybody a certain price for every kilometer driven on a 400 series highway.

Recently in one of my classes (a tax class) part of my real estate program we had a speaker from the city of Toronto giving us a presentation of some of the ways they are planning to propose new taxes to raise funds for the expansion of the Spadina lines. She said they are still trying to choose which ones to propose but all of them seemed pretty bad. I'm glad I'm moving away in the summer, but I think she said they are going to propose these sometime in 2014. One I will mention is charging people with vehicles a flat fee of 8$ just to enter the downtown core plus whatever you spend on parking,shopping ect. She was also talking about raising parking fees everywhere.

Figure I would ask a question that I'm sure everybody has an opinion on for different reasons just to get a thread going "Does the color of a jig head matter?" In my opinion I don't think they do or no where near as much as action and proper size. what does everybody else think?
