  1. I'd have no problem telling people where my honeyhole is. I just would tell them where to go once they're in the river. I'd warn them its very rocky and you have to know exactly where they would have to go in the river if they don't want to lose their prop. If they can make it there unscathed they deserve to fish there just as much as I do lol.
  2. If you have a boatch which Im assuming you do. I can show you a open camping spot a little further up the lake that you can have to yourselves with nobody around. Somebody even built an outhouse that this spot haha, plus they have a cutting board, a couple of benches, firepit ect.
  3. Oh I just looked at a map and I can see where your comming from now. From the south side of the lake. I know exactly where your talking about now. There were people camping in all kinds of spots there last summer. A couple of people let us launch out boat there and we camped on an island further up the lake. We had a truck and pulled a small boat and trailer to the campsite no problem. Grassy River road for you guys is called Pine St or Naybob road for Timmins people haha. The road is very well maintained.(for a dirt road)
  4. See thats what I was wondering, even if I bought a seperate garming gps unit would it just give me a blank page in the north or would it at least give me lines for a lakes shorelines
  5. would a garmin gps cover northern ontario? I already have a down imaging fishfinder in mind so I would just buy a seperate garmin gps only unit for plotting.
  6. Dan are you still on here? haha
  7. Even if those chips don't work north of temagami. If I bought a fishfinder/gps combo would the gps work at all north of temagami? Like would there be outlines for the lakes and stuff at least or would I just see a plain white page on the gps with my boat in the middle of it?
  8. 1954 I am from the Timmins area and fish peterlong, kapiskong, sinclair whatever you want to call it haha. I don't go to the bridge often, but when I'm home for the summer(april 20th) currently in Toronto for school I can take a drive out to the area and give you an update around then what the roads are like around there. Usually I launch in Mica bay on Peterlong if you know where that is.

  16. Ahh that's ok, I think there might be a family friend that will be travelling between orillia and london routinely for the next month or so. I really appreciate the offer though!
  17. Hey there Dan I tried giving the guy a call but there was no answer. Im assuming hes at work. If I can get a hold of him would it be fine for him to drop it off anytime tommorow during your business hours if hes willing to do so? I just want the inspection done. I know someone that will be travelling from London to Orillia multiple times throughout the month so I'll just end up giving him the money to pay for the motor.

  21. Thank you. Is there any chance you would know anybody that routinely drives between London and Toronto as well?
  22. Best of Luck with everything that's happening today.
