  1. http://capitalismisfreedom.com/government-forgot-send-man-prison-13-years-clerical-error/ Thoughts? I will post mine later on in the thread.
  2. Crosby doesn't belong on that list to me because he doesn't have the ability to take over games. With that being said this list is god awful with lots of players that shouldn't be on there and some that should be on there.
  3. I have fished Horwood my whole life and have grown up in the Timmins area.I would be more than happy to help you out with any questions you have. First off yes there is a public boat launch!
  4. I love the new format however if the final race is for all the marbles wouldn't it be cool if they moved the Daytona 500 to the end of the season to be the championship deciding race rather than Homestead Miami?
  5. I'm not specifying an amount, but all I will say is I've quadrupled my initial investment from the beginning of the football season.
  6. Yes sir, I specialize in the NBA and NFL. As of right now if I was in the Vegas Hilton Super Contest I would be ranked as one of the top 5 in the world, and I have quadrupled what my initial investment was at the start of September when the NFL season started. I post all my picks on twitter and facebook when people started calling me out on it, now they're eating their words.
  7. Get into the sports gambling world...I'm one of the best at it and give my picks out for free.
  8. Great choice going back to eastlink! I've owned both before (although I don't pay attention to torrent speeds much), But eastlinks service is 100 times better than Bell.
  9. Washington has Strict gun laws
  10. Luckily where I live were allowed to target them with a catch and release policy. Me and my buddy's fish for them from mid-late august right until the end of october and always do well (catching anywhere from 10-20 in a day). For people that want to kill them just for the meat SHAME ON YOU! These fish are the kings of freshwater fish and should be treated that way. It is a privilege to say you've caught one and have the opportunity to fight one. The least you can do is release it to let somebody else catch it someday.
  11. I'm a little ways away but I'll be at my stomping grounds (Horwood) this weekend.
  12. Yep, one of if not my favorite lake to go to. You could get any size fishing boat in there just about. I would suggest a bowguard for a higher end/fiberglass boat though since you will need to drive at least 10-15km's down a dirt road to get to the launches.
  13. I have to agree with Irish here, I support the right to own firearms this is just a very sickening story.
  14. http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/9583091/baseball-player-killed-kids-were-bored I'm pretty much speechless about this one..what is wrong with people today?
  15. I fish this lake quite a bit, and I was the one that made the report that you're thinking of I'm pretty sure haha. Jigging works if you land on a school of course, but I would suggest covering water along points. Once you find a place where you are getting consistent bites every pass then drop down and jig. Once it slows down at that spot again repeat the process.
  16. Happens up north all the time except its when we have small walleye on and the bigger pike come chase them to the surface
  17. Just ran into this issue, opened up the panel and there was lots of water after noticing a couple of my switches wern't working. Had to replace all the connectors as they were becoming corroded. Where would be the best place to drill a hole to drain it?
  18. Fantastic, i've rigged it up a bunch since I bought it. Has a 25 4 stroke on it now, with ipilot installed on the bowmount, threw my elite 5 dsi on the bow attached to the trolling motor and put a humminbird 598 with side imaging back at the tiller. Did the fish finder adjustments the day after these were taken actually
  19. No problem! I know this picture wasn't from those saturday pics but it was from the day before when we got there after work. Here is my partner with a 40 inch 15 lb pike from friday
  20. Two of the big ones were caught jigging sucker minnows and the third was caught on a husky jerk, as for the rest of the day we caught them trolling bottom bouncers with worm harnesses or jigging minnows.
  21. Sorry I haven't been as active as I've wanted to with reports as I've been really busy but took the time to do this one. Headed out to Horwood lake all day Saturday, and did well. 3 largest Walleyes were 31 inches 10.5 lbs, 30 inch 10 lb, and a 28 inch 8 lb. along with those we caught many in the mid-low 20 range and plenty of eaters (16-18 inchers) Here are a few photos from the day. Starting off with my stringer going down to the bigger and bigger ones of the day ending off with the 31 inch beast. My partner had an awesome day too with lots of size as well. Enjoy!
  22. Nice rig!, I ended up finding a 25 hp 4 stroke merc 2010 with electric start and power trim for super cheap from one of my buddys upgrading to a 40 himself so I went ahead and bought it off him and sold the 20.
  23. Yeah I\l try to keep it up. We caught plenty of other nice ones, but we never took the time to stop for a photo haha, just re-baited the hook and went back at it.
  24. Now that the ice is out, I'm home from school and was finally able to get on the water for a fulls days fishing this past saturday I decided to share a couple of photos from the day which was a chilly North Wind, sub 0 temperatures in the morning. Seemed like nobody was catching anything on the lake but us, We managed to catch about 50 walleye and 10 good size pike. We didn't take too many photos but here are a few from the day. Plane taking off as we got to the launch, my buddy's 18 incher, and my big one of the day a 7 pounder
  25. Nice haul, yeah up in Timmins the north winds and coldfront was a near nightmare for fishing. Luckily me and my partner solved the puzzle and managed to pull in around 50 walleye and about 10 pike. Largest walleye was a really fat 26 incher and the biggest pike was 34 inches. People seemed to get getting frustrated because we were the only ones catching fish in the area...and lots of them! the key was patience no rod action no nothing just letting a jig sit on bottom and let the walleye suck them up whenever they were ready in about 30 ft of water.
