  1. Another EXCELLENT report! That fish fry looks too good to eat. I wonder if the moose are still that plentiful during open season? Man, you had a great trip...good on ya!
  2. Great pics and story, Doug. It occurred to me after seeing this post that anyone needing information about the Red Lake area should bypass all the middle men and contact Connie directly. Connie certainly seems to have his finger on the fishing pulse of NW Ontario. addendum: It also seems to me that Connie is somewhat of a Red Lake area legend in his own right.
  3. Thanks for taking (your sweet) time to post such a time consuming and elaborate report Doug. Looks like Papa and friends enjoyed themselves immensely. Those lakers sure are dark in that water and those walleye are just beautiful. Sounds like all four of you could stand to diet a little this week as well. Thanks again Doug, just an outstanding report. ps. I have a feeling that most folks on this board would have gladly paid the extra $200 to have a chance at the trip that you just experienced.
  4. Well, it's been 48 hours. I'm going to bed.
  5. ummmm Crumpit, that'd be 'nonetheless'.
  6. My heartfelt sympathy to you and Jackie. Terrible stuff to have to go through Jack, but we all know that when we adopt a canine member of the family that we will probably outlive them. All the best to you and Jackie, my friend. Rest well in the thought that while the dog was with you, you and Jackie did the most to make all of your lives comfortable. Take care my friend.
  7. Little Angler, listen to Raf, he knows of which he speaks.
  8. Scenery, seneory, it's not a big deal guys. Welcome aboard 123. I don't know those areas so I can't help you with that but I'm sure someone will pipe in.
  9. I guess that by now a lot of people are thinking that Marc wrote that. I don't think so. Marc's grammar is better than this imposter's.
  10. Darren...today the big ones don't move before noon....don't ask me why, I don't make up the rules.

Looking forward to seeing you Marty...Tony too even :-) Going out today...I really need a muskie today......I guess I'll have to work at it.
  12. I feel a report coming on......
  13. Forensic verification is not needed for our members' fish pics. I've said it before, as soon as money enters the equation, the game is over.

    Congrats Matt, you did good!
  15. That IS a great shot Bernie. Thanks.
  16. Definitely metal flashings. I would also insist on self adhesive membrane at least 4' up from the eaves. Good luck.
  17. HAHAHAHA Sorry I was just looking at the rock and thought maybe there was some social significance to the pics.
  18. Well?
  19. Great thread....what are the last two pics, Brian?
  20. Glad you're still bring them in Lew. I may be opening up a can of worms here but I think that long term, carp will spell the end of the Kawarthas as a fishing destination.
  21. Thanks for the report JB. You got a good variety of weather there.
  22. Great memories for sure, Brian. Good on ya. ps. Can you get Terry one of those shirts?
  23. Sorry to hear about your motor, Dawg. That kinda thing seems to be happening a lot. Will the motor decompose on the compost heap or will you need more accelerator?
  24. Yeah, it attracts the green coach breed.
  25. A great looking fish, Bud...congrats to you! Thanks for sharing.
