WTG. I hear ya Corey. In the mid 60's, I was working in Toronto and the company offered their emps shares at 50%, you paid half and they paid half for you. They started at around $20 a share, I bought a 1000 and within a short time they split 4 times. I made a coupla dollars on that first 'kinda major' investment....at the time. The company was called MacLean-Hunter...I worked there at 481 University (corner Dundas) for 8 years.

A great report Tony. Yes Long Sault is certainly one of the carp hot spots. I camped there a couple of times last summer. Fairly clean water too. From our campsite we could sometimes see a US patrol boat with a gun mounted on the front. :-) I think it's probably illegal to fish that way though.

Well, if you feel you've been wronged, you have every right to take the owner to task. Personally I would leave it alone and learn from that experience. Life is too short.

I wouldn't persue it. I think that $200 for a week's accomodation is cheap especially for being on the water. Almost every camp/cabin/cottage I've ever rented have had wood floors. You had a great time with your friends? Find another place for next year and ask for pictures and referrals before handing over a deposit. I think you got a good deal.

Sounds like it could also be the battery post itself. When you tighten down on the wingnut it pulls the post away from its connection.
