  1. I often wonder how folks find our community. Whether it be through word of mouth or just surfing. Welcome to all the newbies...care to tell us how you got here?
  2. I know lots of folks who own Trackers and like them. I chose a Princecraft. The reverse chine hull design is as stable as they come. Hell, even GCD thinks it's a good boat and he's a console dude. Pic credit goes to Kickinfrog (Rob)
  3. Good on ya Kemper. Really looking forward to seeing the work as it progresses.
  4. You're getting older Cliff. Have you looked in the mirror lately? Mirrors can't lie and if I were you, I'd be thankful they can't laugh either. Have a good one Bubba.
  5. Hey Mike, bookmark THIS! Google is your friend.
  6. My thoughts turn to the families who suffered horrific losses 7 years ago on what is now referred to as 9/11. Give your children an extra hug today.
  7. Lowrance, hands down. Go HERE! and download the emulator....try it for yourself. I use the LCX-25c, same unit.
  8. Yeah, I'll bring a little too. Kevin, are you running out of trees? Some of the picnic tables are due for replacement anyhow. And I'll bet that the deck on cabin #11 would last a long weekend.
  9. Good luck to you and be safe out there.
  10. "Several teeth?" In Arkansas??? Obviously a hoax.
  11. Wait, he's looking it up...Google is his friend.
  12. Welcome aboard Tony. Not many replies usually means that there's not much happening. Looking forward to your input.
  13. The consensus is pro long rod. I don't use anything under 7' now. Muskie casting rods...the go to ones are a 7'7" and an 8'6". However, I think a shorter rod like 5'6" to 6' is much better (for me) for vertical jigging for walleye from a boat. Matter of personal preference I spose.
  14. How did you "JUST" notice this?
  15. Great fish and excellent photos, Shawn. Good on ya.
  16. You've gotten good advice from everyone but I think that if it was me, I'd buy new hub assemblies and bearings. If the the trailer has been sitting idle as you say, and you're going to be doing any trailering at all, I'd play it safe and change the hubs and bearings. They're not expensive and the peace of mind on the highway will be worth it. I'm fixin' to mount my spare on a hub assembly as well. It might sound extreme but, that's what I'd do.
  17. Sad news, Paul. I met Terry at Lakair also. He seemed like such a happy soul. My condolences to you, his family and friends. God Bless.
  18. All nice fish but that brookie is one heck of a nice stream fish. Congrats to your Bud.
  19. Congratulations to you and Jackie my friend. You're both fine people and such a great asset to our community. Love and respect IS a wonderful thing isn't it? Be well my friend.
  20. Yes, it's a good deal and welcome back.
  21. Man, that looks like surface bait heaven! Glad you both had a good time and thanks for the report.
  22. Love to be there Jen but I'm 500 miles away and I have my hands full. I'm sure you'll get some folks out there.
  23. 11 so far
  24. It's with the greatest sorrow that I must announce the passing of Gary Vacek this morning. This email was sent to several members a few minutes ago. First of all my name is David Vacek, Gary's son. I am writing this e-mail for my mother and the rest of the family to inform all family and friends of my Dad's that he passed away this morning. Arrangements are being made for a memorial service in Forest, Ontario and will be published in Saturday's Sarnia Observer and next weeks Forest Standard. An online tribute will be posted shortly at http://www.dodgefuneralhome.com/runtime.ph...vigatorId=29209
