  1. I can't get the S-10s over my gunnels. So Uncle Buck (Goran) made me some SUPER heavy-duty mounts for them. They can't be more solid. I don't know whether he still makes them but you can always PM him. I'm very happy with them.
  2. Great stuff Jamie! Nice shirt too! Thanks for posting that Loic!
  3. Good on ya for making the best of a not so good summer. I'm glad you had a good time.
  4. So are watermelons Steve but apparently, you'd need to eat twelve of them.
  5. I also think that that number you have refers to the prop washer. (OMC)
  6. Props are measured using two numbers for example 13 3/4 x 21. The first number is the prop's outside diameter... 13.75". The second number is the pitch. All pitch is is the distance travelled forward in one complete revolution. While this way of measurement is not accurate to the closest ml.... it`s very easy to place the prop on a flat surface and turn it the same way it would turn on your motor in the water. The distance it will have travelled in inches will be the pitch. There are tons of sites that will help you with that.
  7. Good luck, have a great time and don't forget to use barbless or pinched barb hooks. Check the regs carefully.
  8. Fantastic report, Simon. A great video clip that was. Thanks for sharing that.
  9. A great clip! I prefer this one though.
  10. It would seem to me that the farther up a trib one goes, the more tight lipped the salmon get. Let's not even mention how rotten they get but what do I know......
  11. Sounds like a nice relaxing time there Wayne. Glad you guys were able to get out and away from some stressful periods.
  12. Just looked at an interactive map for your area...it don't look too good at all. Is your property saturated enough that it no longer absorbs rainfall?
  13. A very nice fish indeed! Thanks for sharing.
  14. Some very nice fish and really super pics. Congrats to you both!
  15. Well it wasn't really. These things just feel like weight with a few head shakes. A 3lb bass delivers a much better fight than these walleyes that are 3-4 times their size. Thanks Mike and Bernie.
  16. Thanks for the kind words guys. You too Glen!
  17. Here's my little report for this past weekend....September19 and 20th. Picked up my first minnows of the season... I very seldom buy minnows. These were $9.04 for 2 dozen 3" to 4"...mighta been a coupla 5 inchers in there as well. Went out on the Larry in search of walleye... schools all over the place on the sonar. It was lookin' good. It was lookin' good till the first hit. It was a smallie. It was smallies all night, not a single walleye. All were in the 2.5 to 3lb range. I was fishing alone so this is the best pic I was able to get. I really didn't feel like setting up the tripod cause I wasn't going to be out for more than an hour or two. Last evening I went out again looking for walleye. I was in the same areas cause I was sure they were there. Well, this time the arches on the sonar were indeed walleye. This is an 8,000 watt unit for you naysayers. 20' to 24' of water and they were all over the column. I didn't take any pics cause they were mostly small in the 14" to 15" class. I had kept 3 of them to bring home when the bigger ones started hitting. Well, I know that this an unfortunate and uncomplimentary hold/pose but I know that you guys like pics. I kept that fish as well. It was 29"/30". I didn't take an accurate measurement of the fish. Pitch dark and even the running lights were not giving me a lot of light. After that pic was taken the batteries went dead and I had no spares. Wrestled with whether to post it or not but...what the h. Every fish caught this weekend were fooled by GCD's jigs.... no plastics on them, just a minnow. These were all on the heaviest jig I got from him. What are they... 3/8th of an ounce? Any lighter and they wouldn't have worked so well in the current where I was. Thanks for reading.
  18. Great photos Rob! Man oh man.... your dad looks as though he could flip that car with a backhander.
  19. Fantastic report Cliff! You're right about the aquarium thing. I hope you have a great week there. It'd be interesting to see a copy of Lebanese fishing regs....if they even have any. Thanks for sharing.
  20. Yanno....we're used to hearing these things but if you dropped that sentence at a golfers gala dinner, I'll bet that everyone would stop eating and wonder what the hell was wrong with your head. Good onya fer pluggin' away!
  21. I don't think that's going to happen Rick. Fibbing is expensive.
  22. Leshana tova tekatev v'etachetem. Have a good one Darren.
  23. Yeah, Glen sits on his....thinks it might save his ass.
  24. And did you stick your arrow in its throat?
