I had a wonderful time Saturday with Lloyd (Fishhunter), Jose and Radar. Got down to the dock around 5:15 Saturday morning and Lloyd was just putting away the breakfast dishes. Jose and Radar showed up minutes later and we waited for a 4th guy. At 6 it was time to leave. Beautiful day though with lots of sun and a light breeze. Here are a few action and money shots of the guys... none of me in there...it turns out that you have to be on the OTHER side of the camera to be in the pic. Here's a shot of captain Jose! Cutest fish of the day. Mr. Machete man. And here's the thank you shot. I had a great time on the bay with you guys. Looking forward to doing it again, Lloyd.

Thanks for the fast reply...I saw them in sets of ten at a few places...five to a side ... are those the ones you have?

Made some new trailer bunks and guide ons. I'll install them the next time I launch. I'll have to grind the old ones off at the ramp. My question is, has anyone used those slick glide ons on their bunks? Was going to pick some up but I don't know if they're worth the effort. Does anyone know?

Everyone knows where that came from but that wasn't my first hint. Anyone who rides a turtle to school can't be that quick.

You're certainly right about that, Rich. But I can't help but think how good they have it compared to the poor folks in the Gulf. Sure mother nature will throw us a curve ball from time to time but this gulf stuff is all about greed and greed will be the end of us.

I hear ya. I'm debating as to which reel to match up with a new Spiel custom I'll have soon. I wanted the Ci but then was looking at the Sustain.... not well rated compared to the Stradic MG. I may get that one.
