whoahhhh!!! i have yet to have a carp jump out of the water during a fight ... dang i gotta add more alcohol to my groundbait/maize ... i probably should soak my stuff for at least 6 months before using them
Great shot as always dsn ... pretty crazy how u got a shot of him jumping .. it's like u can stop time or something...
New Angler, i don't know much about outboards neither but i'd say start a new thread, give us more information about the motor (i.e. year, model, etc). Try google, there's alot of information on the web.
i have never fished any of it myself ... but i'd imagine that it would be quite different between the downtown stretch and the uptown one ... the downtown stretch is dirty as hell ... might find carp there, who knows, they swim in anything ...
it's alright greg ... keep going at'em. I spent 13 hours sitting bankside last weekend and didn't get a fish ... i didn't even have a good hit.
It's warming up, no worries
Nah i don't think that's true even though i own most of the equipment ... it doesn't mean that I'll catch more and bigger fish compared to someone who's just using a bass rod ... it just adds the excitement to it and personal preference i guess.
I came across this article in the Ontario Out of Doors website today and thought that it would be a good read for everyone especially the ones who is going to launch their rig for the first time.
Boat Launching Etiquette
Safe boating and tightlines everyone!
Thanks again everyone.
Alright, i shall go get myself a couple of 4x4, pool noodles, and most important, a few rolls of Duct Tape
lol seriously though, i'll try to wait for a trailer first ...
As far as running your boat in the lake with the motor tilted and only using the eletric, i don't think there's a problem with that. But as jedi said it might be difficult to launch.
Hi guys and girls, I need a little help ... as stated in the topic. I have wanted a boat for a long long time and have been doing a bit of research and came across this boat that doesn't have a trailer. In the long run I will probably buy a trailer but in the mean time I don't have room to store it. It seems to be a good deal so i don't want to miss out on it. Would it be possible for me to cartop a boat this size? I know many 12' tin cans are cartoppers but I have never seen them done, even on google when i search for images, there isn't a single one of them. O yeah the boat has a closed bow if that matters, but it's only a small section of it.
Thanks in advance.
Victor
