    Just guessing here, 2 days ago the lake I was on was covered in snow, yesterday it was all gone, and it didn't just melt, I'm thinking maybe it blew away

    I would think so, considering there's so much safe ice here in RH I would think a more rural, farther north place like orangeville would be fine, at least in most of the bays. Thinking of going tomorrow?

    Got out on wilcox today with redpearl, good ice (4-5") over most of the lake, a couple spots 3". Not too eventful, redpearl managed one hammer handle but that was it.

    Do you mean hand warmers around the console or transducer?

    The thing works, turns on and everything, just when I turn it on (with the transducer in) is says that it's not connected, But it only happens in cold water, works fine in warm.

    I should mention that although I didn't catch anything, my friend catches tonnes of bass with his son there from shore in the summer.
