  1. Good to know pearl, the question I was emailing was actually about trapping leeches in the marsh part of the lake, I've completely given up on that lake for some time now...
  2. I get that, but if they could surround it to hold it there, tranquilize it and then relocate it?
  3. Thanks Roy, now I just need to find out the boundaries...
  4. I guess that's good news, but why'd they shoot it? Couldn't they bring in tranquilizers?
  5. Bill I have seen this before and if you look fishing is the responsibility of the MNR it says.... Brian, no it's the one in richmond hill.
  6. I already did, I'm thinking that it may be a town rule, but it's been brought up before and I am wondering where this came from...
  7. Never heard of this before, I suspect that that person was wrong but I would email your local CO and double check.
  8. I was just emailing the MNR about a question (had to do with the lake wilcox fish sanctuary) and he said that he was not aware of any sanctuary, he said that if there was one that it was certainly not something the MNR put into place, does anyone know anything about this?
  9. Nice bass! Cool looking pike! and amazing panos! Great trip!
  10. I hate you, not really, ok maybe just a bit!
  11. It's a waxwing, but I've never seen that yellow tip. I love how smooth their feathers look...
  12. 1 goby for kempenfelt. Oh well, at least I have the home run derby tomorrow.
  13. We're at centennial, hope it warms up!
  14. Well tournament is over, didnt place, we tried all of your suggestions ( thanks again ) the winning fish came in at 5.2 pounds, we caught lots of good fish but none good enough to win. We had a great time and will be back, we are now barreling toward the 400 to head up to barrie we are looking to do a little shore fishing for smallmouth there we were thinking of kempenfelt park, sound like a good plan? Thanks!
  15. The bass was actually caught on a lipless crank, we tried the daredevils and diamonds and my dad caught 3 giant sunfish on them, I would go bigger but I lost my last large daredevil at the conestoga dam last week. I have tried spinnerbaits, pitching jigs (caught a rockbass on), husky jerks, frogs, spoons, crankbaits, and spinners. I think that somehow we overlooked the senkos a bit so we'll be using them tomorrow along with some live minnows, other than that any suggestions?
  16. Well today was the first day of my tournament in orangeville, as everyone noticed the conditions were less than ideal. After being stuck doing nothing until 10 the bit had already cooled off. No one really caught anything, talked to some others and they only boated 1 26" pike, and I only managed a two pound bass (2 pounds back of the lead). Any tips for tomorrow?
  17. Quite an accomplishment, definitely a challenge to catch the absolute smallest fish in the world!
  18. Wish I could we leave for algonquin the next day, maybe another time, and I hope you get a thousand people!
