  1. Holy cow, that really is quite the sunfish. Sounds like a good day had by all.
  2. Great story and I love Arts offer Thanks for sharing.
  3. Isn't it always like -go out for one species and starting pulling in everything but . Thanks for the report.
  4. Nice pics Al, great looking fish
  5. Those are some great pics, your certainly doing ok with the manual as far as I can tell.
  6. Sounds like one crazy 1/2 hour there Cliff, way to go (though doesn't it count as Blys if she pulled in the log?) I was at the islands today (report later) and the carp were all over the place - lots of pairs swimming along and several of them 'getting it on' in little trees and bushes sticking into the water.
  7. Love the 'washed the skunk' pic, thanks
  8. Great report FishingFiend, Gods country up there for sure.
  9. Awesome, nothing like another season opening. Congrats!
  10. mmm nice looking dinner there and thanks for the rig pic - fish porn and instructions perfect combo
  11. Nice job, certainly beats sitting home in front of the TV during the week
  12. www.emusic.com - mp3 files without DRM and pretty cheap (40 tracks a month for $14 I think). I think if I refer you we get a few more free but I'm not sure. Mostly independant/smaller label stuff unless your into Jazz (quite a lot of good Jazz there)
  13. Thanks Rickster, needed that laugh
  14. Sweet fish guys and that silver is cool too.
  15. You forgot I CAN HAS CHEEZBURGER?. And for the software guys out there: LOL Code. And we all though the internet was just for porn.
  16. Great report Phil (both parts), thats one beauty of a pike.
  17. Usually when we made them we'd do about 4 feet of line for the rig and end it in a swivel and that would connect to the bottom bouncer. These 2 articles seems to describe it fairly well: http://www.in-fisherman.com/walleye_inside...5_ArchBouncers/ http://www.cabelas.com/story-123/ross_bott...tch+Fish+.shtml
  18. Can still see the scar from mine a few weeks ago, glad to see you kept fishing though and nice job finding your way back in that fog.
  19. That was an awesome report - I was expecting a sheepshead or something the way you were talking and when I saw that walleye I was almost as shocked as you. And video to boot, awesome!
  20. Great looking night there, congrats to the both of you. I can't wait to see what happens if you two started targeting muskie
  21. Great stuff Sled. Remeber the camera next time and see if its cursed
  22. I've always done well with your basic Lindy rigs like this one or just made them ourselves. Usually we use them with a bottom bouncer setup and a slow troll (~1 mph) going for 'eyes.
  23. I was just up there a month ago for my Grandmothers funeral. Most of my dads family lives in Hinton, just outside of Jasper and my earliest fishing memories are catching mountain whitefish with my grandfather inside the park. Like others have said - every time I go back that scenery still blows my mind. If you've never been you really are missing out on a big chunk of the Canadian experience.
  24. Nice fish, I have no idea what 90% of this carp talk is about but that's one nice rock bass Bly (poor W.G.S.F. gets no respect)
  25. You have my deepest condolences Lew, I'm so sorry for your loss.
