  1. While you're there look for your name on the wall and an OFC Hat Randy
  2. Just put some Dielectric grease on the terminals and forget it. If ya wanna go all the way and be fancy, Epoxy the C/B to the vent cap of your battery. I see no problem... kinda looks like my setup... no problems for me as of yet. Good job! Randy
  3. I also thought that you looked familiar and thought that I've see you in the fishing department in Wal-Mart. I'd say 2-3 years ago.....Hmmmm small world... very nice Pink'Eye. Randy
  4. This morning @ 10:45 I was approaching the "Champlain Bridge" here in Sturgeon Falls... the bridge spans about 150' across and is roughly 100' above the Sturgeon River.... traffic started to slow down because of a Whitetail Doe on the bridge....In a panic she took a leap of faith off the bridge into the river.... she didn't make it. I proceeded to the "docks" to witness her floating carcass drift downstream 'til she was out of sight. What a strange experience! I had to share. Randy
  5. Come to think of it.. I may know why. I remember being a kid and throwing a fit with arms flailing and all .. my Mom would bonk me on the head or or give me a light slap on the cheek to calm me down.. so she could "take the hook out" If it worked on me .. It might work on a flailing fish... I'll try it next time. Randy
  6. Sorry, I thought that you were kidding.. I have no clue why someone would bonk a fish to get the hook out unless he's keeping it.. Do you remember what show you were watching? Randy
  7. "like why do they bonk the fish on the side of the head before taking the hook out. " Randy
  8. Once again, It all depends what I have at the end of my leash.. Say a light spoon or a crank ..one hander. 2 hands for more distance or against the wind. If I have a large bait on I'll most all of the time use a 2 handed cast..(strictly overhand)... I myself find the one hander more accurate..and versatile. Randy
  9. NO... but it seems that he doctor is...
  10. If you find a Touareg with a V10 TDI... don't be scared to buy it but don't expect to have it for long very break-down prone, but .. . it's a CRAZY Machine...It'll smoke any new gas pick-up on the road... That said .. I choose the 4Runner .. very Capable unit... but not quite capable as my Expedition. Randy
  11. Here's another.... MTO Statistic?? They say that 20% of all accidents are caused by drunken drivers,Therefore, 80% are caused by sober drivers. Can sober drivers therefore get the heck off the road so that we (drinkers) can get home safely. Thank you. This message has been sent in the interests of safe driving. Randy
  12. Ya gotta wonder sometimes Eh?... Especially with the U.S economy as it is...You'd think people wouldn't risk a good paying job by drinking at work and not waiting until after their shift..to drink a little drink and smoke a little smoke.. I know I do. Randy
  13. An 86-year-old very wealthy man went to his doctor for his quarterly check-up... The doctor asked him how he was feeling, and the 86-year-old said ,'Things are great and I've never felt better.' I now have a 20 yr-old bride who is pregnant with my child. 'So what do you think about that Doc ?' The doctor considered his question for a minute and then began to tell a story. 'I have an older friend, much like you, who is an avid hunter and never misses a season.' One day he was setting off to go hunting. In a bit of a hurry, he accidentally picked up his walking cane instead of his gun.' 'As he neared a lake, he came across a very large male beaver sitting at the water's edge. He realized he'd left his gun at home and so he couldn't shoot the magnificent creature. Out of habit he raised his cane, aimed it at the animal as if it were his favorite hunting rifle, and went 'bang, bang'..' 'Miraculously, two shots rang out and the beaver fell over dead.. Now, what do you think of that ?' asked the doctor. The 86-year-old said, 'Logic would strongly suggest that somebody else pumped a couple of rounds into that beaver.' The doctor replied, 'My point exactly.' Randy
  14. That gun is good .. most shops will use the same one...It's just rebranded over and over again....from Ultra-Pro to Uni-Tool, Maxx-Air ect...it will for sure do the job at a fair price. Randy
  15. At the rate that I change and tie on lures lately, I use a bow. Depends on what I'm using... Jig or Single = *Noose or Fisherman Cranks = Rapala Knot or Bolen Leader = Uni or Nail ** (not a) (kinda like a) Noose ... actual name of this knot was on the board a few weeks ago. Randy
  16. fixed just like hockey.. That's all I've got to say about that.. Kidding....gonna be good Randy
  17. Frame and undercarriage 1 gallon... if you plan on going in from the inside ( doors , rocker panels, fenders and quarters add another 1/2 gallon..... don't worry about the overspray it's biodegradable and edible...It actually tastes like peppermint. Scrape off any scaled rust before applying though. Randy
  18. as for the undercoating I believe that Fluid Film is about the best. I've sold It for years and tried it 15 years or so ago made with sheeps wool oil and believe in it as much as I believe in Seafoam. As for the gun it's a fair price for what you get(run of the mill).. you will also need a good 5/16 cobalt drill bit and some 5/16 body plugs to do a good job. But once you've done it .. spend the extra $$$ (300$ or so)and buy an electronic rust control device such as a Guardian or Counter Act... I used to sell those too and have owned one for the past 7 years ... My Expedition is still rust free and my Mazda 6 will be for a long time...a good investment if you're not a leaser and keep your vehicles. This is old technology in a new box that has stood the test of time... long gone are the days of undercoating for me. Randy
  19. Hey... I just noticed...What can you see in the first pic?.. Reflection .. think backwards. Randy
  20. I stepped on the front panel door of my favorite tacklebox.. Plano 777 ..and snapped the hinges .. since it's pouring rain and I'm watching fishing shows.. I figured that it was Rednuck Repair time. I used a pencil has a hinge , with the help of my Dremel I carved it out to fit, and some blasting wire with a couple of zip-ties to attach it all together. Works well and saved me 60$ on a new box. Randy
  21. I don't know them enough to pick and eat them.. but I have notice a lot up here.... Randy
