  2. We have a massive run here every spring....Lake Nipissing Silvers come up the Sturgeon River... from mid May to the first week of June. Fun stuff I tells ya. Randy
  3. Well... a buddy of mine has been through this.. and he had to get the serial #'s from the sled and bring it to the police so they could check it out ... all numbers came back clean. and he went ahead to the MTO and registered it as a "custom" or "home-built" sled. Have you ever owned a sled of that stature? P.S Modified engines have been modified for a reason usually because it's been popped .. and popped re-built and supped up high performance engines are known to pop even more. I'd spend the extra few $ or maybe even less on an equal or adequate sled and save on the Tylenol for the headaches that it might bring. just my 2 cents + HST Randy
  4. I think that Garry has hit the nail on the head with this one but I agree with Roy ... What about the boat?. Banjo Minnow and the Flying Lure.. money down the drain. Although the Banjo Minnow makes for a nice trailer on a spinnerbait How about the Popeil Pocket Fisherman? Randy
  5. Cool stuff.. instead of an Ice Auger they use a Post Hole Shovel. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTs4YETEeMQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTs4YETEeMQ?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTs4YETEeMQ?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> Randy

  8. Thanks Irish!!! I'll run the pink stuff though it just in case ...I'd hate to have to spend $$ ++ money on the tub in the spring when it could have been prevented with a gallon of 6$ R.V antifreeze. Randy
  9. Wayne... Have you ever had a livewell or bilge system freeze and crack? Just wondering....do you use R.V Antifreeze? Never happened to me yet .. but after winterizing my camper for the first time , I got to thinking of it. Randy

  11. Give me a Bass and I'll starve.... teach me to fish and I'll find another species to eat.
  12. Why would you wanna eat a Large Mouth anyway? It might just be my personal preference , but Bass as table fare is disgusting. Randy
  13. I run my boat/ outboard 30 Evinrude 'til the water around the launch starts to Ice up.. I usually put it away in the first week of December... in the meantime my foot is in the down position to keep her drained and voila... I'm good to go 'til the next time.. Temps up here have been dropping to -5 this past week and no problems to be had .. Just great fishing... I'm heading out on Saturday -1* for some Muskies ... I have a few days off next week and will be doing the same until freeze up. Don't miss out on the late fall opportunity. Randy

  17. Man, I hope this doesn't pass. I use 200+ Lbs just while BBQing in the summer and about another 100 during the winter. And 120+ Lbs/season in the Camper. Gonna be on the Beer budget!! I'll have to resort to Minute Steak vs T-Bones and a bag of chips vs baked potatoes. They might be safety conscious but being safe doesn't mean that it has to cost more $. Randy
  18. After the truck is "Safe & Sound" Best performance "Bang for the Buck" is a #1 Chip "Edge Tuner" 400.00 $ (more horses = fuel economy) #2 Jet Throttle Body Spacer( better fuel economy)125.00 $ #3 K&N Cold Air Intake 250.00 $(more air more power better economy) #4 Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust 550.00 $ (what comes in must come out) #5 Royal Purple Synthetic Fluids all 'round 250.00 $(less friction & heat) I have all of these on my 2000 Expedition 5.4 and wouldn't take any of them off. They have long since paid for themselves in fuel economy. Randy
