I was thinking of booking a cottage on Round Lake. never been there sounds like a great area with good fishing. Just looking at any info on the lake.park and the fishing . I was looking at the cabins inside the PP.(Bonnechere)thanks in advance

I went for my first time last year and it was alright. You will need a boat of some kind to access the better fishing areas. Not much really for shore fishing other than the docks. Lots of bass close by along the weedbeds.Never caught any walleye but did have a couple follows from musky. I wish I could of had another day or 2 to explore the lake. There were some people fishing near the bridge in front of the park from shore that were catching some nice bass.

it definately is not a telescopic rod. It is solid one piece bc rod. The reel seats do not spin around.

This past weekend while taking the trash to the dump for my Dad in Lavigne,I spotted what seemed like a perfect fishing rod in the trash. So I made my way to it and grabbed it. It looked brand new,one piece baitcasting rod. To be more specific it was a 7ft Bill Dance Class IM6 Graphite med-heavy rod. I thought someone must have threw it out by mistake,what a bonus nice new rod for free. Well when I got back to my Dads I noticed the problem,the eyes of the rod are on the wrong side of the rod seat.So when the reel is sitting on the top side of the rod the eyes will be on the bottom. My question is is there any way I could fix this?Or is the only thing to do is tape the reel on the wrong side of the seat? thanks I could add a pic if that would help.

Wow i was up there visiting my father this past weekend and I fished off shore right by Lakair Lodge and managed about 6 walleye(all under 16 inches),1 drum,4 smallies and a few rock bass.I only fished 2 evenings and 1 morning for about 4 hours total.I thought the fishing was pretty good.

timeline is the line where the time is displayed on the bottom of the screen,where all your other icons are.

on the bottom right of the screen on the time line there should be an keyboard icon,click on it then you can select the us keyboard problem fixed.

Although I have not been there in a few years both the pools I have caught smallies,largemouth,walleyes,pike and some of the biggest catfish I have seen. One night we caught one that was 10 lbs. At the very top of the falls I have caught smallies,pike and even a walleye.

Cypress Lake you are allowed only canoes. In the connecting lake Cameron you can rent motor boats.Walleye fishing is tough but there are lots smallies. Try driving up the road a bit to the day use beach area which is also a part of the park. There you will find a small stream that holds brookies.

hey splashhopper is that the ponds in the Pond Mills area? I grew up there and use to fish them often.I have not fished them in about 10 years. I also was a member of the fishing club off southdale and was thinking about re-joiniing. Those ponds are full of bass.

actually it is rated for a 3 hp. for some reason. The other scanoes i came across all were rated for a 5 hp. Maybe coleman had 2 different models.And to answer your question it pushes it along real nice.

I just picked up a NS5B 5hp Nissan outboard with built in tank for my scanoe. It starts and runs great and looks brand new. It is a mid 90s model. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these outboards. I was hoping to find a evinrude or johnson but this came along at the right time. Are these reliable outboards? Should I look to sell it and find something else. Any input would be wonderful. thanks.

just checked the long range for most of ontario and it is more of the same,lots of wetness next to no sun and heat. Can someone enlighten me as to why? This is July is it not? I thought I heard a weather guy just a few days ago say things should start turning back to normal by Monday,well the forecast says different.
