  3. if ppl read our other posts, they would see that we very rarely gill hold fish, so flame all u want, im not worried about it. They are held by the gill plate, not the gill rakers, the fish will be fine.

  10. Well, its about time, I finally got out for some chrome !!! Water had some tinge, but still good vis. Chromers were eating up the roe bags, all dime sized, colour didnt matter. Hope u enjoyed
  11. Ermine for sure.
  12. 6 pound resident brown ?? You sure it wasnt a dark lake run fish ?
  13. 90% of the salmon in Lake O are stocked anyways. If you are concerned, Ringwood Hatchery in Stouffville would love to have volonteers. The salmon run should be over by now anyways, probably over a month ago. It sucks, but we cant make it rain, and one creek isnt going to kill the Lake O fishery, there are hundreds.
  14. I like 0126.jpg looks like forrest gump's shrimpin buddy.

  23. Hey Mark, what a gorgeous day to be out. Had a bunch of newbies out today, so it was nice to put a bunch in the boat thats for sure. Nice of you to leave some big ones for us though haha good seein ya out there, two weeks left, im sure we'll meet again.
  24. Well today was a beautiful day if I have ever seen one. Needed to get out, unfortunately, too many people wanted to come. Ah what the hell, 5 people on the boat, I've seen crazier, and the boat is rated for it. We drove up to Simcoe to do some smallie fishin, and I remember why I love Simcoe and why I love smallie fishin. No real big fish today, but enough to keep everyone entertained. Tubes in about 35 feet of water did the job today. We caught fish shallower, but they were all very small, and too many perch nibblin away, deeper was the way to go. Kelli with a couple Robyn with her first Simcoe smallie myself with a couple average size fish. Like I said, no tanks today, but it sure felt good to get into a few of them. Its not very often that Simcoe is that calm this time of year.
  25. congrats dude, nice fish. bass closes soon, then i can get out for some steel!!
